Overview: In this assignment, you will look at two types of models used in data modeling—the
conceptual model and the logical model. These are just two types of tools used in data
architecture and data modeling that must be created before a database is built. These models are
part of the steps required for developing a fully comprehensive system. Without these steps, it
would be impossible to properly capture and document the business requirements needed in a
system. Notice that you will have to describe the significance of these type of analysis and model
drafting for your final project.
Prompt: Suppose the requirements for a rental car company have established two entity
relationship diagrams, shown below. These models are to be used to track and measure sales
based on branch. Please review the two diagrams thoroughly before answering the questions that
follow.
