ORIENTATION ASSIGNMENT: (MUST COMPLETE THIS FOR A GRADE)

1. Please send me an e-campus/D2L mail and indicate that you have read this information (type
“Orientation” as the subject in the subject line). This should not be a regular e-mail nor a reply to my e-
campus mail, but rather an e-campus mail you create and send. See the D2L tutorials for assistance. This
will demonstrate that you can communicate with me through e-campus mail (it is never too early to make sure
we are properly communicating, as communication through e-mail is essential to success with an online
course, this will help). Include your contact phone number/s on this e-mail in case there is a need for us
to communicate quickly.

2. Watch the introductory video of me and type a short sentence on a word document which answers the
following two questions… #1 - Whether I am wearing a hat or not in the video, #2 – What was the last movie I
saw? This will help to ensure that you know how to open and watch videos, since we will have more this
semester. Save your short word document and submit the assignment through the dropbox tab of e-campus
(D2L).
