PRESENTATION,INTERPRETATION AND ANALYSIS OF THE DATA
This chapter presents an analysis of the date gathered in
response to the specific problem determined in the study.

Table 1 discusses the implementation of barangay ordinances in
maintaining peace and order of barangay Agbannawag in the delivery
of barangay services.
As per interview with the fifty (50) respondents they claimed
that they are “agree “ with the services of implementing barangay
ordinance in maintaining peace and order in barangay Agbannawag.
This obtained a total average weighted mean of 3.69 most are:”
Barangay Ordinances helps reduce crime in the community with weight
mean 3.84; Ordinances strengthen cooperation between residence and
barangay officials with weight mean 3.84 and Barangay officials
regularly inform residents about new or existing ordinances weighted
mean 3.78.”
According to Dela Rosa (2022) General Santos City where the
study was conducted is one of the progressive cities in the country.
It has 26 barangays where to implement the peace and order programs
of the country through their peace and order councils, headed by the
barangay captains. The study on the implementation of peace and
order and the leadership styles of leaders in the city was due to
determine the level of its programs implementations and at the same
time to determine the leadership style utilized by their barangay
captains in General Santos City, Philippines.

Guay, M.A., & Cawi, R.D. (2023) also said the result of the
research relatives to the factor and setbacks encountered by the
police afficers, community , and barangay officials among them to
encounter the challenges in the implementation of barangay ordinance
in maintaining peace and order.
In Addition, Domingo Jr.B.c,(2020) publicized that the solution
to the challenges of criminality is the contribution of the members
of the peace and order council and barangay officials in the
effective operation of implementing barangay ordinance in
maintaining peace and order.

As to the level of satisfaction of the respondents 0f Barangay
Agbannawag, Tabuk City as to Gender, The female respondents
perceived higher than the male respondents. This is due to the fact
that the majority counts of respondents is female who is willing to
implement peace and order compared to the male.

The table shows that the computed f-values of 0.15 is less than
the tabular value which is equal to 4.07. This result made the
researcher conclude that there is no significant difference among
the responses of the respondents on the implementation of barangay
ordinance in maintaining peace and order in barangay Agbannawag,
Tabuk City.

The under 18 have obtained the highest mean of 4.00 and the
18-25 group obtained the least mean. Both means fall under the
description “Agree”. It is implied that the respondents is
willing to implement the barangay ordinance of peace and order in
barangay Agbannawag.

the respondents with self-employed. This is followed by the
unemployed with 3.8 weighted mean and the student with 3.6. All

As seen in the table, the implementation of ordinances helps
reduce conflicts and maintain peace that obtain the highest
weighted mean of 3.9 followed by barangay tanods respond promptly
to incidents related to peace and order. As been observed,
implementation of ordinance plays a great impact in the life of
the respondents, it helps reduce conflicts and maintain peace.
The implementation of ordinances helps reduce conflicts and
maintain peace. The community feel safer in the street nowadays
because there is an ordinance so they believed that no one will
harm them.
It is believed that there are so many conflicts back then when no
ordinance is being introduce but because of the ordinances that
is being implemented, the conflicts and crimes decrease.
Barangay tanods respond promptly to incidents related to peace
and order. Barangay Tanods is a group of civilian
volunteers who protects the community form lawless forces
and exhibit their interest in preventing crime, primarily in
areas in which there are few police. They are at the frontline of
maintaining peace and order in every barangay.

In addition, Residents in the said barangay is being informed or
consulted first before implementing new ordinance and the
residents is also given enough information about the new
ordinance before it is being enforced.
Lastly, penalties for violating ordinances are appropriate and
properly applied by the barangay officials. Barangay officials
enforce ordinances fairly and without bias, they are responsible
in making judgement to avoid any harm and violence and they also
help the law enforcers in maintaining peace and order.

As to the level of satisfaction of the respondents 0f Barangay
Agbannawag, Tabuk City as to Gender, The male respondents
perceived highest mean than the female respondents. This is due
to the fact that the male believed that ordinances strengthen
cooperation between residents and barangay officials.

bracket 26-35 and 36-45. This means that the younger respondents
is not interested in any ordinances being implied. As young as
they are, they have the feeling of a go-lucky, whatever is there,
they are already satisfied.

It is seen in the table 10 that the respondents under the self-
employed has the highest mean of 4.02 and the lowest mean of 3.00
is obtained by the retired respondent of the barangay Agbannawag.
This implies that respondents of barangay Agbannawag is pleased
to have an ordinance in implementing peace and order based on the
survey on the respondents in perception of implementation in
barangay Agbannawag.
