Propaganda is spreading information that aims to
convince the public to react or act. It shows natural bias
because advertisers only present information favorable to
their products or services.
Propaganda is synonymous with advertisements and
announcements. Captions are expressions like slogans or
taglines. Propaganda Techniques are the different methods
or styles used in advertisement to promote products or
services.
Propaganda comes from the Latin word ‘propagare’ which
means “that which ought to be propagated” was adapted by
the Catholic Church for the propagation not of life forms but
of religious faith (de propaganda fide). The word was first
used in English traced to 1718.
