Adverbs and expressions of
frequency
1. We often use the present simple with
ADVERBS

Go before the main verb


For example: I always wake up at 8 AM.
Go after the verb to be
For example: I am always happy
Remember to use a positive verb
with never
For example: I never wake up at 8 AM.

2. Expressions of frequency usually go at the end of the


sentence
For example: I wake up at 8 AM every day.
