Success Guide
Congratulations on starting your SHS journey as a Science student! This timetable and guide will
help you plan your studies from SHS1 to SHS3 to prepare effectively for WASSCE.

Monday – Friday (After School Study Plan)


Time Activity
4:00 – 4:30 pm Rest / Snack / Freshen up
4:30 – 5:30 pm Do homework & revise class notes
5:30 – 7:00 pm Main study session (rotate subjects)
7:00 – 7:30 pm Supper / Short break
7:30 – 9:00 pm Second study session (lighter subject)
9:00 – 9:15 pm Review what you learned & plan next day
9:15 – 9:30 pm Prepare for bed / quiet time

Extra Success Tips


Start early: don’t wait till Form 3 to prepare for WASSCE. Every 4 weeks, take a mock test on one
subject. Keep a “weak topic list” and focus on improving them weekly. During vacation, study 3–4
hours daily to revise and read ahead. Stay disciplined and stay motivated!
