Slide 1 – Title
“Good day, panel members, teachers, and fellow students. We are here to present our study titled
‘Social Media Influencer Authenticity and Brand Collaboration: Their Impact on Consumer
Purchase Decisions among Students from Selected Private Higher Education Institutions in
Iligan City.’
I am [Your Name], together with my groupmates [co-researchers’ names].”
Slide 2 – Objectives of the Study
“The purpose of our study was to determine how social media influencer authenticity and brand
collaboration affect consumer purchase decisions. Specifically, we assessed influencer
authenticity in terms of transparency, consistency, genuineness, and trustworthiness. We also
examined brand collaboration in terms of brand-influencer fit, promotional style, endorsement
frequency, and engagement metrics.
Finally, we determined the level of consumer purchase decisions in terms of trust, perception,
repeat purchases, and engagement continuity, and tested the relationships between the
independent and dependent variables.”
Slide 3 – Schematic Diagram
“This is the schematic diagram of our study. As shown, our independent variables are Social
Media Influencer Authenticity and Brand Collaboration, while our dependent variable is
Consumer Purchase Decision. The arrows show how these factors are linked and how they may
influence buying behavior among students.”
Slide 4 – Methodology
“For the methodology, we used a descriptive-correlational research design. Our respondents
were students from selected private higher education institutions in Iligan City. We used a
structured survey questionnaire as our instrument. The data were analyzed using mean, standard
deviation, and Pearson correlation coefficient to test relationships among variables.”
Slide 5 – Results: Influencer Authenticity
“Our first result is on influencer authenticity. It was rated positively overall. Students valued
genuineness and trustworthiness the most, followed by transparency through sponsorship
disclaimers. However, financial disclosures and frequent changes in product stance were seen as
weaknesses that reduce credibility.”
Slide 6 – Results: Brand Collaboration
“In terms of brand collaboration, students favored strong brand-influencer fit. They preferred
authentic storytelling over hard-sell approaches. Balanced endorsement frequency was also
important, since too much promotion reduced trust, while consistent engagement such as
comments and replies made promotions more persuasive.”
Slide 7 – Results: Consumer Purchase Decision
“For consumer purchase decisions, trust was the strongest driver. Students reported that
authenticity shaped their perceptions of products, while positive experiences encouraged repeat
purchases. Engagement continuity, or consistent long-term interaction by influencers, also built
loyalty.
Our correlation analysis further confirmed that authenticity and collaboration have moderate but
significant positive relationships with consumer purchase decisions. Specifically, authenticity
had a correlation of r = 0.499, while collaboration had r = 0.458.”
Slide 8 – Conclusion
“In conclusion, authenticity is vital in consumer purchase decisions. Genuineness and
trustworthiness were the most influential qualities, and a strong brand-influencer fit further
improved effectiveness. Trust was found to not only drive initial purchases but also sustain
loyalty. Overall, both authenticity and collaboration significantly affect consumer buying
behavior.”
Slide 9 – Recommendations
“Based on our findings, we recommend that businesses work with authentic influencers and
invest in long-term collaborations. Influencers should consistently practice transparency,
honesty, and genuine engagement with their audience. Consumers, on the other hand, should
critically assess promotional content before making purchase decisions. Finally, future
researchers are encouraged to broaden the demographic scope and include additional factors such
as brand loyalty or consumer satisfaction.”
