JEE Prep Strategy Amid Health Challenges

The document outlines the current academic status and health conditions of a student preparing for various exams, including CUET and IAT, while managing a heavy syllabus across physics, mathematics, and chemistry at both JEE and CBSE levels. The student faces limitations due to health issues, including obesity and recurrent infections, which affect their study capacity and time management, especially with upcoming preboards and practicals. The student seeks guidance on how to effectively cover the syllabus and prioritize studies given their health constraints and the differing requirements of the exams.

Prior information- I am preparing from esaral and their lectures ar ejee adv level focused and every

leture is 1.5 hr and it takes the same time on 2x , I cant do more than 6 lectures a day due to my
health
if I don’t specify the level its jee level and I haven’t practiced the module questions for most of the
chapters, if I don’t specify the length of the lecture its 1.5hrs ,1hr lecture =1hr 15 min lecture (where
1 hr is mentioned)
every day 4 classes are going on (live) like this -

In physics , the 11th part

I have done till NLM(jee level), haven’t done work power energy and centre of mass, some part of
rotation also ,after this I have done the whole 11th physics part excluding -waves and KTG and
oscillations till cbse level
what has been taught in the coaching that I havcent covered (jee level) (11th) -elasticity(6 1 hr
lectures) , thermal expansion (5 1 hr lectures),heat transfer(7 1 hr lectures),KTG-3 lectures of 1
hr,SHM-9 lectures,fluid-12 lectures ,wave on a string -7 lectures ,error – 1lecture and ongoing

The 12th part of physics –

I have done electrostatics , current electricity , magnetic effectr of current , emi- lectures(6/14)
and ray optics and capacitor
what has been taught in the coaching that I havcent covered (jee level) (12th)-magnetic matter and
magnetiusm- 2 lectures,Alternationg current- 7 lectures , EMI -8 lectures left ,electronic devices -7
lectures ,modern physics -19 lectures

11th maths – I have done the whole syllabus cbse level except these chapters (these I have done jee
level )-quadratic equation, sequence and series , trigonometric ratio , trigonometric equation , log ,
statistics , set relation
I haven’t done solution of triangles
12th-
I have done (jee lvel )- matrices , deteminants,function,set relation , ITF,continuity,differntiabilty(3/6)
I haven’t done wholly – differentiabily left ( 3 lectures), MOD (7
LECTURESS),AOD(19lectures),indefinite integration-11lectures , definite intergartion -14 lectures ,
area under the curve-3 lectures, differential equation -10 lectures, vector 3-d (4 lecturees and on
going)

Chemistry -
11th part ihave done jee level- till chemical equilibrium(excluding thermodynamics )

11th part I haven’t done jee level- oxidation reducrtion (done till cbse level )(9 lectures) , hydrocarbon
(not done wholly )(6lectures and on going ), GOC(3lectures left)

12th part-
I have done till jee level – liquid solutiobn , solid state , chemical kinetics , coordination comapound

1 havent done wholly- salt analysis(13 loectures) , electrochemistry(11 lectures) ,

isomerism(15lectures) , d&f block(2 lectures), p block(7 lectures), surface chemistry ( 3 lectures)
, metallurgy(3 lectures)

some chapters of every subject I have done for school exams cbse elvel but that’s not relevant
enough
this is the syllabus , now I want to clear CUET and IAT or other exams for Bsc physics (admission)

I have my practicals in January and my preboards in novemeber ( full syllabus ) mainly it will go on for
12-15 days

now I have may have to go school regularly so0 I would be able to do only 3-4 lectures that day and
the days I will go are approx. are 3-4 days a aweek

as you know that the syllabus and pattern of iat and cuet are different and their dates are also
different
main issue is that my lectures are of jee advanced level and now I don’t need that level and they also
contain extra info that is only for jee advanced , I don’t have much time left because I have my
preboards in November and December and practicals in January and then you know the approximate
dates of all the exams I want to give ,so the thing is I have to complete my syllabus and practicefor
these exams so from where should I cover lectures ( I preferred esaral lectures ( I purchased its
Aayush prahar batch in January and the syllabus I have left and the practice I have to do for the
exams I don’t know how to proceed as whether to cover 11th syllabus and how to continue the
prepration

even If I go to school a minimum as for 2 days a week how will I cover as topics like integration takes
a lot of time
I have to also prepare for English and computer science and physical education for boards or I don’t
know if cuet requires any of these subjects
my health history-

Here’s a clear, structured summary of your current conditions, both physical and mental, plus
medications

🩺 Physical Health Conditions

 Back/spine issues → Disc bulge causing nerve compression → tingling in foot, occasional
back pain.

 Obesity → Weight ~105 kg, height 173 cm (BMI ~35), with insulin resistance and acanthosis
nigricans.

 Metabolic issues → Increased appetite, weight fluctuations.

 Recent recurrent infections (Aug 2025) → Two episodes of high fever, body pain,
drowsiness, and weakness.

o Treated with antibiotics (Amoxicillin / Augmentin) and supportive medicines.

o Possible viral origin, but recurrent, so doctor suggested further tests (CBC, CRP,
Dengue NS1, Malaria, Typhoid).

 Gastrointestinal issues → Episodes of diarrhea and gut disturbance, especially linked with
stress and antibiotics.

 General fatigue & low energy → Brain fog, weakness, low stamina, inflammation.

 Food habits → Vegetarian, avoids milk/dairy (due to mental health). Quit refined sugar
(March 2025), restarted clean diet in August after relapse.

🧠 Mental Health Conditions

 Stress disorder → Especially before tests; difficulty giving exams without full prep, poor
scores trigger depressive spiral.

 Anxiety → Strong while studying; often relieved by eating (even if full).

 Emotional numbness → Episodes since July 2025, worsened in August, linked to stress and
illness.

 Depression-like symptoms → Loss of interest in everything, low motivation, inability to start

new tasks.

 Panic attacks → At times, with heavy breathing and hot breath sensations.

 Cognitive symptoms → Brain fog, trouble focusing, difficulty restarting studies after breaks.

💊 Medications (as of Aug–Sept 2025)

 Psychiatrist-prescribed medicines (since 18 Aug 2025) → Two medicines (you showed me
pictures; exact names not stored in text, but I know they’re ongoing psychiatric treatment).

 Antibiotics (Aug 2025 infections) →

o Amoxicillin / Augmentin (Amoxicillin + Clavulanic Acid).

o Previously also Amoxicillin in June (gum infection & pink eye).

 Other supportive medicines during infections:

o Meftal Forte (Mefenamic Acid + Paracetamol) – for fever/pain.

o Montelukast + Levocetirizine – for allergic/sinus symptoms.

o Dry cough syrup.

⚖️In short:

 Physical → Back/spine issues, obesity with insulin resistance, recurrent infections, fatigue,
gut issues.

 Mental → Stress disorder, anxiety, emotional numbness, depression-like symptoms, panic

tendencies.

 Medications → Psychiatric medicines (since Aug 18), antibiotics and supportive meds for
infections, occasional pain/fever/allergy meds.

I don’t know how I should cover my syllabus right now and what to focus on as there are three things
boards cuet and iat so from where to cover lectures and should I cover it for the jee advanced level
( the teachers are very good and the concewpts they teach are not sonme tricks to just do the topic
but the real thing that gives clarity) but it will take high amount of time and also considering my
condition what is best for me?
