Create a Figma account

Set up an account or log in


Visit the [Link]

1. If you are new to Figma, enter your email address and a unique password. Then, follow
the prompts to enter your information.
2. If you have a Google account, you can sign up for a Figma account using your Google
account details.
3. When asked, What kind of work do you do? Select Design.
4. When asked, How will you primarily use Figma? Select For teaching or taking a class.

To open Figma Editor, Click on “New Design File”.

Now your Figma Editor is Open, which looks like this:


Workspace Overview:

• Canvas

• Toolbar

• Layers Panel
• Properties Panel

Essential Tools:

• Frame Tools:

Click on in the
toolbar. It will open Frames in the properties panel:
• Shapes and Lines:

Draw rectangles, circles and lines. Customize properties (size, color, border).
To color and add weight to line, adjust in this panel:

• Text Tool:

Add and style Text. Change font, alignment and spacing.


• Export Design:
We can export designs in PNG, JPG or SVG formats.
