Background

Yua Yaiba was born on April 18, 1995. At age 21, she became employed at ZAIA Enterprise
Japan under Gai Amatsu's tenure. Yaiba placed as the technical advisor for A.I.M.S., putting
her in charge of major A.I.M.S. weaponry developed by ZAIA Japan. She was assigned to
observe Isamu Fuwa to prepare him to become A.I.M.S.' latest Kamen Rider. At some point,
she unknowingly received an A.I. chip implanted into her brain in order to properly use the
Shotriser.

Yaiba as Kamen Rider Valkyrie

Yua Yaiba was deployed with Isamu Fuwa and his A.I.M.S. squad to subdue the rampaging
Trilobite Magia at a local amusement park. As more began to overwhelm the soldiers, Fuwa
entered the van to use the A.I.M.S. Shotriser without Yaiba's authorization. After containing
the threat, Fuwa and Yaiba visited Hiden Intelligence to meet with the new president, Aruto
Hiden to discuss the rampage. Upon recording data of Isamu Fuwa's transformation into
'Vulcan', Yaiba is given the permission to use the A.I.M.S. Shotriser and Rushing Cheetah
Progrisekey to transform into Valkyrie and subdue any Humagear who violates the A.I. code.

Through Gai Amatsu's advising, Yaiba would continue to provide Aruto and Fuwa additional
Progrisekeys in their battles against [Link], all while collecting and recording
data from them. As MetsubouJinrai's activities continue to escalate, Yaiba was tasked to
reprogramming the Dodo Magia, but allow it to attack humans. She oversees the progress of
the Gigers until MetsubouJinrai intercepts A.I.M.S.' laboratory to take the Gigers and Attache
Weapons. During a battle with Horobi, Fuwa is placed in critical condition and Yaiba has no
option except work with Hiden Intelligence to help Zero-One access Breaking Mammoth.

After Is caught Yaiba at the scene of the Dodo Magia, Fuwa begins to suspect foul play
recalling her connections with ZAIA Enterprise. While she denies any wrongdoing but hints
they'd become enemies one day, Fuwa promises to defeat Yaiba when the time comes. The
pair continued working together to subdue the Dodo Magia. Once A.I.M.S. uncovered a
traitor within Hiden Intelligence, which was later revealed to be astronaut Humagear
Uchuyaro Raiden, under his true codename 'Ikazuchi'. Taking concern of Fuwa's behavior,
Yaiba questions about letting her partner do what he pleases despite endangering by himself.

Yaiba participated in a raid with A.I.M.S. to take down MetsubouJinrai. She declared the
terrorists were in violation in A.I. code and fought MetsubouJinrai as Valkyrie. With only Jin
remaining and him launching an attack to the city, Yaiba later witnesses Aruto as Zero-One
Shining Assault Hopper defeating Jin. With MetsubouJinrai dismantled, Yaiba left A.I.M.S.
and transferred back to ZAIA Enterprise Japan, saying her goodbyes to Fuwa. Meeting at
Gai's office, she learned of Gai Amatsu's role in Ark's rouge programming, all to tarnish
Hiden Intelligence and the Humagears by manipulating [Link]. Gai reassured
Yaiba that the real battle was about to begin and that she would become his right-hand
woman from this point on.

The Workplace Competition

Following Gai Amatsu's announcement to buy out Hiden Intelligence, Hiden and ZAIA
engaged in a five-part Workplace Competition to pit the Humagears and ZAIA Specs to
challenge their worth and functionality to the public. Yaiba was assigned to assist Gai, much
to Aruto's surprise that she suddenly left A.I.M.S. Following the emergence of the Raiders,
Yaiba is suspicious after knowing ZAIA Japan's Progrisekeys had been stolen. Yaiba finally
comes into conflict with Isamu Fuwa having caught wind of Gai and ZAIA Japan's role in the
Raiders.

Vulcan VS Valkyrie

Gai Amatsu had taken the opportunity to become Kamen Rider Thouser and uses every
underhanded method to downplay the Humagears, even intentionally provoking them to
incite malice, all while she was forced to stand silent from Gai's foul play. Under Gai's
orders, Yaiba created the MetalCluster Hopper Key using Ark. Despite its intentions to lock
Zero-One's authorization system, it inadvertently allowed Aruto to access Zero-One
MetalCluster Hopper and corrupted the system to the Ark instead. While Yaiba remarked
Zero-One had evolved, Fuwa denies believing that was even Zero-One at all. Eventually, the
creation of the Progrise Hopper Blade would restore Zero-One's connection back to Zea.

While still forced under Gai's orders, even forced to hack a Humagear, Yaiba is later given a
Raidriser and the Fighting Jackal Progrisekey. Despite ZAIA Japan's victories from the start
of the competition, Hiden Intelligence prevailed in the latter half. This leads to the tiebreaker
final round involving a referendum campaign to determine if Humagears should be welcomed
to society. However, due to the fallout of rapper Humagear MC [Link]-It-Out going berserk
on live television, Yaiba is forced to dispose him by displaying her transformation into the
Fighting Jackal Raider to the public.

Yaiba later reveals to Fuwa they both have A.I. chips embedded in their brains. However, it
turns out that Gai uploaded the data of Naki, one of MetsubouJinrai's executives, onto his
chip and had them distribute Raidrisers the entire time. When Fuwa questions why Yaiba is
still working for Gai, she avoids responding. With the populace losing faith on Hiden
Intelligence and the Humagears, ZAIA Enterprise Japan enacts its takeover bid on the
company. Gai orders Yaiba to eradicate the Humagears starting with Izu, but Fuwa stopped
her and found the resolve to become RampageVulcan, who declares to fight her until he
understands Yaiba's true dreams. Nevertheless, Hiden Intelligence was acquired as a
subsidiary of ZAIA Japan and Yaiba still continues to work under Gai's command.

Finding True Purpose

Several days after Gai Amatsu's tenure as Hiden Intelligence CEO, Yua Yaiba became the
squad captain of A.I.M.S. following Isamu Fuwa's resignation. She is tasked to eliminate the
Humagear that are recalled by Hiden Intelligence and leads the Battle Raiders. While Fuwa
expresses he no longer has hatred against the Humagears, he assures he'll pursue fighting
A.I.M.S. and will fight Yaiba unless she finally stands up to herself.

Aruto Hiden manages to retain the patents of the Humagear and Zero-One technology in
order to open his new business, HIDEN Manufacturing. While she does keep an eye out on
the Humagears, Yaiba led a raid on the company building in an attempt to eliminate the
restored Humagears and reactivate Naki from Fuwa's chip by force transforming him into
Vulcan Assault Wolf. Through a series of events, Naki managed to free themselves from Gai
Amatsu's control, working together with Fuwa to fight against Thouser. Learning this made
Yaiba began to question if she still had any free will left to fight against Gai.

However, Yaiba would reach her breaking point after discovering Fuwa's childhood
memories during the Daybreak Town Accident were fabricated by Gai to make him more
hostile towards Humagears. Yua was forced to execute Fuwa despite her hesitation, but only
face her defeat again. It was then she was attacked by Gai's subordinates, losing her Raidriser
and Fighting Jackal Progrisekey in process. Gai nevertheless revealed the truth to Fuwa,
much to his despair. This was the last straw for Yaiba to rebel against Gai, having seen
enough on how far he went to fulfill his ambitions. Having assumed the form of Kamen Rider
Valkyrie once more, she fights together with Vulcan to defeat Thouser together and punches
him to declare her resignation from ZAIA Enterprise. In a sign of good gesture, Yaiba
collaborated with Jin to separate Fuwa and Naki.

The Ark Uprising

MetsubouJinrai would accomplish their goal in completely reviving the Ark, having evolved
into Kamen Rider Ark-Zero. Yaiba as Kamen Rider Valkyrie arrived in Daybreak Town by
Jin's request to assist in combatting Ark but ends up in critical condition due to Ark-Zero
becoming unlike any enemy they've face. After her recovery in the hospital, Yaiba and Fuwa
would reassociate themselves with A.I.M.S. as the threat of the Ark is reaching beyond
comprehension. Following Gai Amatsu's change of heart, Yaiba vocally refused to accept his
apologies, but Fuwa requested him to let A.I.M.S. operate independently from ZAIA.

Through the innovation of Kamen Rider Zero-Two, the Ark was finally subdued and
completely shut down by the efforts of Aruto Hiden and Horobi. Unfortunately, Horobi
announced his intention to destroy humanity and began raising an army of Humagears. While
Valkyrie and Vulcan engaged Horobi, the latter would destroy Izu and brough Aruto Hiden's
advent into becoming Kamen Rider Ark-One. Believing Aruto has been possessed by the
Ark, she went to confront him with Fuwa and Gai. However, Ark-One defeats the three
Kamen Riders with ease and disables Valkyrie and Vulcan's A.I chips, blocking them from
transforming again. She realized that Aruto isn't controlled by the Ark, but choosing to act
under his own volition.

With tensions between humans and Humagears were being raised due to Aruto's actions as
Ark-One, Yaiba attempted to convince A.I.M.S. to not harm the protesting Humagears and
vice-versa. Despite Williamson Yotagaki's orders, Yaiba revealed that A.I.M.S. is no longer a
subsidiary of ZAIA Japan, thanks to Gai Amatsu's efforts, and has assumed command of
A.I.M.S. as the current squad commander.

During the final battle between Aruto Hiden and Horobi, Yaiba watched the televised battle
in the Thouser Department office while trying to reactivate Jin's A.I. With Fuwa and Gai, she
would watch Ark-One fighting Horobi that led to Aruto letting go of his feelings of revenge.
As Zero-One defeats Horobi, he spares the Humagear out of mercy. Following this final
victory, Yaiba meets with the A.I.M.S. cadets and would introduce Naki as their new
technical advisor, with a mission to protect A.I. for the betterment of humanity and
Humagear alike.

Zero-One: Final Stage

Zero-One: REAL×TIME

Three months after the threat of the Ark had subsided, Yaiba regains her ability to become
Kamen Rider Valkyrie after Gai Amatsu restored her A.I. chip. However, a new incarnation
of the Ark arises with the presence of Rihito Isshiki (S), who embarks to destroy the world
and replace it with a virtual paradise. Yaiba engages the Abaddon Riders as Valkyrie engages
the Abaddon Riders with the A.I.M.S. soldiers, even engaging some while riding a bike. She
also gathered up information regarding the identities of the Abaddons with Naki, Shesta, and
Gai. Valkyrie joins with Thouser, Horobi, Vulcan, and Jin for the final showdown against the
Thinknet forces.

Zero-One Others

Sometime after the Thinknet crisis, Yaiba permitted Naki to help [Link] in a
situation. After the quartet allegedly attacked ZAIA Japan HQ, Yaiba conducted a press
conference and hounded by the reporters regarding the situation. Suddenly, ZAIA Enterprise
CEO Lyon Arkland arrived to accuse [Link] of being a threat much to Yaiba's
disagreement but couldn't respond any further as [Link] hacked the live feed to
declare war on ZAIA. After Kamen Rider MetsubouJinrai murdered Lyon Arkland and
destroyed ZAIA Japan HQ, Yaiba was given orders by Secretary of National Defense,
Shigeru Daimonji, to eliminate the runaway Rider.

Yaiba pursued Kamen Rider MetsubouJinrai as it sets sights on her. While Valkyrie and
Vulcan engage the runaway Rider, MetsubouJinrai was able to overwhelm them, and the pair
are forced to evacuate. After learning about the events that unfolded during the ZAIA HQ
destruction, Yaiba found herself aided by Sold20 who warns them about the Solds are
launching a war against A.I.M.S., loyal to MetsubouJinrai. Upon arriving at A.I.M.S. HQ,
Yaiba confronts MetsubouJinrai but is protected by Sold20. She was given the Serval Tiger
Zetsumerisekey before Sold20's systems shut down, allowing her to assume Kamen Rider
Valkyrie Justice Serval. However, MetsubouJinrai was far too powerful, and Valkyrie was
only able to briefly damage the MetsubouJinrai Driver's power system. MetsubouJinrai
would later repair the damage done to the power system, leaving Yaiba having not
accomplished anything. Yaiba was later brought to the hospital, which motivated Fuwa to
fight MetsubouJinrai himself. Although Vulcan Lone Wolf managed to vanquish
MetsubouJinrai, Yaiba arrived to see him in critical condition. Yaiba stayed behind Fuwa's
side during what appeared to be his final moments.

Sometime afterwards, Yaiba had recruited Sold9 and Sold20 to A.I.M.S. and they arrive at
Shigeru Daimonji's press conference during his announcement to abolish humanoid artificial
intelligence. Yaiba refutes that no matter what, the will of MetsubouJinrai has moved onto
the next generation of Humagear as she vows to protect them.

Post-Series & Other Events

Due to the timeline changes caused by Time Jacker Finis, Yaiba is seen fighting alongside the
Human Resistance fighters against the Humagears under the command of Will.

In the mid-credit scene, Fuwa tells Yaiba about a dream where he was turned into a
Humagear. He asks Yaiba to destroy him in the event that happens. Yaiba asks him about his
actions if she is turned into one, Fuwa ensures her that he will crush her.

Kamen Rider: Beyond Generations

In the dystopian timeline of the year 2071 where Diablo had successfully conquered the
world, an elderly George Karizaki developed the Clone Rider system based upon years of
research on the Kamen Riders. George is able to control the system via a unique tablet, where
he is able to assign armors of various Kamen Riders (incluiding the Data of Yua Yaiba as
Kamen Rider Valkyrie) of his choice to specific users, transforming them into the chosen
Kamen Riders themselves.

Kamen Rider Valkyrie appeared to assist Rinko Daimon and the police when they engaged a
mysterious humanoid. She, however, was overpowered and the being was able to escape.

Personality
Yaiba is an extremely professional and by-the-book agent, remaining levelheaded even in the
most dangerous situations. She is also extremely cunning and quick witted, able to
manipulate both Aruto and Isamu to suit her own ends. Due to her long-term working
relationship with Gai Amatsu, it has corrupted her perspective of Humgears to the point
where she sees them as nothing but tools that could simply have their data backed up if
corrupted, with no inherent value beyond their use as labor.

However, despite this cold and often stoic demeanor, Yaiba does possess humanity and
sympathy for others as she was worried and cried for Isamu after he was put comatose by
Horobi, despite the two not always getting along. She broke her calm façade and pleaded to
reverse Hiden Intelligence's order of disabling the Humagears, as it would condemn hundreds
of human lives to death. Showing contrast to Gai, her superior, she continued to show a great
care for Isamu's well-being even after returning to ZAIA Enterprise, as well as displaying
signs rebellion against Gai. However she is fearful of betraying him due to his leverage over
her with the A.I. chips inside both her and Isamu, lacking the willpower to defy him.

However, by Episode 33, she snaps after she personally witnesses Gai selfishly cross a line.
Although she has since defected from ZAIA Japan, she continues to wallow in guilt over
being partially responsible for the Ark's revival. Thanks to Isamu's previous attempts to make
her find her own self purpose, she opened her heart to him, and subsequently to others as
well. Since the end of the Ark's reign, she has begun to accept Humagears and, like Aruto,
recognize that they have a heart as well, eventually taking one in to work for her. When the
dark era of Kamen Rider MetsubouJinrai and ZAIA's destruction reigned, Yaiba upheld her
pride and never faltered in her beliefs for the group when helping Sold9 and Sold20.

Prior to entering a battle, Yaiba would say "Confirmed special A.I. law violation.
