PowerPoint Practical Exercise: Create a Presentation

1. Create a New Presentation


Open Microsoft PowerPoint.
Choose a blank presentation.
2. Title Slide
Add a title slide with:
Title: “Introduction to Computers”
Subtitle: Your Name and Date

3. Add New Slides

Slide 2: "Definition of a Computer"

 Add 3 bullet points explaining what a computer is.

Slide 3: "Main Parts of a Computer"

 Add 4 bullet points:


o Monitor
o CPU
o Keyboard
o Mouse

Slide 4: "Uses of Computers"

 Use SmartArt to list 5 uses (e.g., Education, Business, Health, Communication,


Entertainment).

4. Design and Transitions

 Apply a design theme from the Design tab.


 Add transitions between slides (e.g., Fade or Wipe).

5. AnimationsAnimate bullet points in Slide 2 to appear one by one.

6. Slide Show

 Start the slide show from the beginning (Press F5).


 Navigate through the slides.
