JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 Involved in General Arrangement Drawing, Piping and Instrument Diagram, Isometrics

Drawing, Fabrication Drawing and Structural/Support Drawing.
 Ensuring and delivering the quality Maintains project schedule by monitoring project
progress, coordinating activities, resolving problems.
 Responsible for the complete Fabrication, Erection, Testing of all the piping systems.
 Interact with clients, answering questions and collaborating to meet expectations.
 Oversee all piping aspects of construction, delegating tasks and identifying areas in need
of improvement.
 Identification of Piping loops & maintaining loop file record for NDT, Hydrotesting,
mechanical Clearance and Final Box UP.
 Preparation of Daily, Weekly & Monthly progress Review Reports.
 Execution of works as per Method statements, Engineering documentation, drawings and
procedures.
 Monitory Pre-Commissioning activities like Air blowing, Hydrotesting, lay-up, Flange
face cleaning, Valve erection, Bolting and Torqueing.
 Arrange the equipment required for Chemical cleaning, Steam blowing and Line flushing.
 Direct, align and guide the team for best performance, monitor performance and provide
continuous appraisal and feedback.
 Preparing As Built drawings.
 Requesting the necessary material required for execution of work.
 Empower subordinates and provide proper tools and techniques including process
improvement suggestions and follow up on implementation.
 Coordinating with the site and clarifying the doubts in execution of work.
  Identifying training requirements for subordinates and providing suitable training
operation of equipment.
 Verify /Correct/Update the Isometric drawing with existing lines and as built lines.
 Replacing corroded pipeline.
 Conduction Walk down before hydro test
 Hydro testing for pipe lines with required pressure.
 Replacing the valves which are no longer functioning.
 Performing hydro test, cardboard blasting and flushing for the pipeline.
 Coordinate with Supervisors and line Managers for erection front, quality and HSE
issues.
 Perform other job related duties as assigned by the section head.
 Monitor HSE aspects for safe working.
 Monitoring on a daily basis safety talk, tool box talks.
 Preparing daily reports to project engineering departments.
 Ensuring that the safety measures are taken before starting the work.
