In late 2025, a TikToker named Nikalie Monroe conducted a social experiment in the United
States. She called over forty churches, asking a simple question: can you help feed my six-
month-old baby with formula? Many calls ended without direct help. Some referred her
elsewhere, others declined. A few small churches did step forward and offered support.
Then she called the Islamic Center of Charlotte, North Carolina. The response was
immediate. The volunteer asked only what the baby needed and where she was located.
When she mentioned she was not Muslim, the answer was still yes. This moment reminded
millions that true compassion does not ask about religion or identity. Islam teaches mercy,
