Abstract
The "KinMel" application is an advanced e-commerce platform designed to enhance
the shopping experience for buyers and streamline sales operations for sellers.
Developed using Java, Spring Boot for the backend API, and Android Studio for the
mobile applications and SQL for the database. KinMel ensures a seamless and robust
user experience across all platforms.
The mobile applications, built on Android Studio, offer separate interfaces for buyers
and sellers, catering to their unique needs. Buyers can effortlessly browse a wide
range of products, view detailed descriptions, and make secure purchases. The app's
intuitive design allows users to search for products, apply filters, and manage their
shopping carts with ease. Sellers, on the other hand, can list products, manage
inventory, process orders, and track sales performance through a dedicated seller
interface.
For administrators, a web-based interface developed with Bootstrap provides
comprehensive control over the platform. Admins can manage user accounts, oversee
transactions, and generate reports to monitor the platform's performance. The
responsive design ensured by Bootstrap guarantees that administrators can access the
platform efficiently from any device, maintaining oversight of operations at all times.
At the core of KinMel, is its powerful backend API developed by using Java Spring
Boot. This API facilitates seamless communication between the frontend applications
and the database, ensuring fast response times and secure data handling.
The SQL database serves as the backbone of the platform, securely storing user
information, product details, transaction records, and more. The database's structure
optimized for quick retrieval and efficient data management, ensuring the platform's
reliability and performance.
KinMel aims to modernize the e-commerce landscape by offering a feature-rich,
cross-platform solution. Through its intuitive interfaces, efficient backend, and
comprehensive administrative controls, the platform strives to deliver a superior
shopping experience for users and an effective sales management tool for sellers,
establishing itself as the go-to platform for online retail needs.
