Understanding Informionics Typology

Informionics is a typology focused on information perception and processing, incorporating principles from psychosophy and NLP. It consists of 24 types and 4 aspects: Filtering, Reconciliation, Evaluation, and Action, each with specific functions and characteristics. The document also correlates informionics with Jung's dichotomies and discusses the advantages of low-function aspects.

Prepared by @creepy0964 for the @typology_nasralishe channel based on information from the

article [Link] and Alexander Latyshev's book "Psychosophy and

all-all-all". It is strongly recommended to read this document after studying the structure of
psychosophy - many terms from the theory of PY will be mentioned here.

Informionics: everything you need to know to get started

Informionics is a typology about the perception and processing of information. Created by a man
under the nickname 4X_Pro. It is not a meta-model typology as such - it combines the 3 + 1
principle from PY and the terms "map" and "location" from NLP (neuro-linguistic programming).

As in PY, there are 24 types, 4 aspects, 4 positions in informionics, but there is also a correlation
with the socionic basis of C. G. Jung. Let's discuss everything in more detail.

Aspects of informionics:

1. Filtering (F) - highlighting what affects the situation, separating the important from the
unimportant, the essential from the secondary. Such a separation ultimately makes it possible to
obtain in pure form those laws to which the situation obeys, according to which everything
happens, and to influence it taking into account them in order to obtain the desired result.

2. Reconciliation (S) - a comparison of the "map" and "terrain", in the language of NLP, that is,
comparing (and, if necessary, correcting) the picture in the head of a person with the world
around him. Moreover, reconciliation can be carried out both for the final result, and in the
process of activity.

Evaluation (O) - refers to the emotional or subjective assessment of the situation and the
verification of what is called "environmental" in NLP. That is, “do I like the result”, “does it suit
me”, “does it cause internal protest or rejection”. The area of Evaluation also includes moral
issues, as well as not only one's own feelings, but also an empathic assessment of the feelings
of others caused by the situation being solved.

4. Action (D) - Unlike the other three components that take place in the head of the subject,
action is the active change of something in the external world in order to obtain the desired
result.

Structure of informionics :

1. The first function is the target function, it is on it that the assessment is made whether the
task is solved or whether the work needs to be continued. For each of the aspects there are
characteristic settings:

a. 1O - emotional satisfaction (If the situation suits me, the task is solved).
b. 1F - predictability (The problem is solved if I understand how it works, I can predict the further
development of events).

c. 1S - confidence in the reliability of knowledge, the unity of the "map" and "locality".

d. 1D - achieving the desired changes (I managed to change the situation that did not suit me).

2. The second function is instrumental, it defines the main tool that we use in solving problems:

a. 2O - to influence people, trying to change their assessment of what is happening.

b. 2F - come up with new systems and theories that explain what is happening.

c. 2S - double-check your ideas about the world, look for possible errors.

d. 2D - "need more to inject"

3. The third function is the trigger that fires the trigger. It is she who is engaged in checking the
suitability of existing solutions and decides on the need to search for a new one. As in
psychosophy, it is a pain point of the type - vulnerability lies in the fact that work on the third
function can lead to a depreciation of the results of the first and second, which gives rise to a
desire to isolate oneself from this function. Manifestations of aspects in the third position:

a. 3O - the difficulty is to decide "do I like it", "am I satisfied", as well as in solving purely
subjective issues.

b. 3F - fear of contradictions within the "map", small logical inconsistencies. This can lead to
perfectionism.

c. 3S - fear that contradictions will be revealed between the "map" and "locality", that "theory will
be killed by facts." Because of this, it is possible to go into theorizing, avoiding testing one's
ideas with reality.

d. 3D - fear of either starting a business or admitting that efforts have been wasted.

4. The fourth function - "lazy", comes into operation only when necessary, quickly turns off, the
questions of the aspect that got to this position, the person does not
is set.
It is important to note that low functions also have their advantages - for example, low Filtering
gives a greater level of creativity. Low Reconciliations have well-developed abstract thinking,
fantasy. A low score reduces the level of subjectivity of judgments and allows you to look at
everything more objectively. And finally, low Action, the case when laziness is really the engine
of progress, because due to high Filtering and Reconciliation, the owner of a low action can find
less costly ways to perform certain tasks.

( translator Note : there is no placement descriptions for the 4th function, but it should be
obvious how they manifest)

Correlation with Jung’s dichotomies:

1. Filtration/Evaluation Relationship – Logic/Ethics Dichotomy
2. High/Low Reconciliation - dichotomy "sensorics / intuition"
3. Filtration/Action–judgment/perception dichotomy1 4. High/low
Action–extroversion/introversion dichotomy

Conclusion
Despite the fact that informonics is not a typology of the metamodel, it is still partially connected
with it, but also somewhat reminiscent of MBTI/socionics. I hope this document is of some help
to you. Thanks for reading!

Footnotes:
1 - I couldn't fit "rationality/irrationality", so I wrote "judgment/perception". Don't hit :)
