How to generate a Report from LineWise Data

Click on the LWReport program from either the

Windows Start menu or the Premier Tool Bar.

From the File menu, click the Create From File

menu item and select the *.lwr file from the Open
dialog box. By default Linewise should save the
files by date in the following folder:
C:\Program Files\LineWise\Data\

The graph will appear empty at first. Double click

the empty graph to display the Graph Axis
Properties dialog box. An alternate way to get to
this dialog box is to click on the Format menu and
click Axis Properties.

Use the X Axis page to change the Start and Stop

time. Set the number of horizontal divisions by
changing the # of Intervals’ value. Time can be
displayed in Real Time or Elapsed Time by
clicking the appropriate option.
Use the Left Y Axis to change the Minimum and
Maximum values displayed on the graph’s left
side. Set the number vertical divisions by
changing the # of divisions’ value.

In the Traces section choose the data displayed

for the Left Side. Each data trace has its own unit
and color. Currently only 4 data traces can be
displayed at once. 2 traces per side.

Use the Right Y Axis to change the Minimum and

Maximum values displayed on the graph’s right
side.

In the Traces section choose the data displayed

for the Right Side. Each data trace has its own
unit and color. Currently only 4 data traces can be
displayed at once. 2 traces per side.

Double click above the graph part and just below

the program’s tool bar to open the Graph
Comments dialog box. An alternate way to get to
this dialog box is to click on the Format menu and
click Title & Comments.

Title will appear above the graph. The rest of the

fields will appear below the graph after the report
is printed. Not all the information is show on the
screen to save space.
