Some people think scientific research should focus on solving world health

problems. Others think that there are more important issues. Discuss both views
and give your opinion.

The notion that global health issues should be placed at the top of agenda in
scientific research has been the source of many controversies because numerous
people believe that scientists should pay attention to other important aspects. In
this essay, I will discuss both view and give the reasons why I support the latter idea

It is undeniable that tackling human’s health is considered to be one of the

prime scientific topics because citizen’s health promotion can contribute to the
growth of the world. As almost all industries in the world can not be operated
without the appearance of workforce, it means that with a view to be florished,
these industries may need a source of healthy labour. For example, in case of Covid
19 epidemic, many workers suffered from this infectious disease, it entails the risk
of various corporations and companies which had to close because they were lack
of labour. Therefore, on the global scale, the degration of each small companies can
put the world’s finance at risk. Hence, scientific researches should take health
problems into consideration with a view to ensuring the global enhancement.

However, I believe that researchers should deal with environmental problems

before finding the solutions to health deterioration as the root cause of diseases can
be attributed to the environmental factors such as air or water polutions. To be
more specific, the more people expose to outdoor pollutants from greenhouse gas
emissions, the more likely that they may be vulnerable to respiratory diseases such
as athsma. Furthermore, human health quality may also be worsened due to the
water pollution, it can pose a threat to daily water supply for people. That results in
drinking water scarcity and when water runs out, people can be easily prone to
deadly water-borne illneses. Scientists should focus on solving environmental
problems in advance because better environment can be a solutions to health
issues.

In conclusion, I believe that while it is crucial for scientist to concentrate to

enhancing human health quality owing to the benefits it bring to the world
development, they should firstly focus on solving environmental pollution as greater
environmental betterment means that diseases are less like to happen.
