CCMCL302 – COMPUTER LITERACY – MS WORD PRACTICAL ASSESSMENT


Part 1 1: Create Your Practice Document
Open a new Word file and type or paste the following short passage:
Technology shapes our world in both visible and invisible ways. Every click, message, and
search leaves a digital footprint. While it connects us across distances, it also challenges us to
balance time, privacy, and human connection.
Step 2: Formatting Practice (Font Group)
a. Use this passage to practice your formatting tools:
b. Change the font style to Cambria and set the font size to 12 pt.
c. Make the first sentence bold and the last sentence italic.
d. Highlight the word “Technology” in yellow.
e. Change the font color of “digital footprint” to blue.
f. Use Superscript to type “2² = 4” at the end of the paragraph.
Part 2: Step 1: Create a Table
Go to Insert → Table → 4 × 4.

Step 2: Format the Table
Now practice table formatting:
a. Insert a new row before the first one
b. Merge the top row and type Employee Performance Report.
c. Center the title, make it bold, and color it dark blue.
d. Apply shading to the header row (light gray).
e. Center-align all text in the table.
f. Insert a new row below the last one, and add one more record.
