INDIVIDUAL ASSIGNMENT REFLECTION

Throughout the course, there was a speech done by guest lecturer which is Dr. Kan Weng Honn.
There are several important key points that I can write up here about entrepreneurship which are
valuable for anyone looking while are looking to succeed in business. Firstly, he emphasized the
power of content creation, noting how it has transformed his life. This highlights the importance
of embracing modern tools like social media to build a personal brand. A powerful content
creation can be a tool which distinguishes you from other entrepreneurs.

Moreover, Dr. Kan’s focus on keeping things “short and sharp,” which acknowledging the
importance of clear and concise communication in a business setting. He mentioned that
entrepreneurs need to be able to express their ideas effectively, whether in a pitch or daily
interactions. This is because time is valuable, so being direct and engaging to the customer is
crucial. Next, he also highlighted the significance of providing value to others. Whether through
content or products, successful entrepreneurs should focus on how they can help their audience
or customers. This is because building a trust and loyalty is key to growing a sustainable
business. Finally, Dr. Kan’s also mentioned that collaboration and networking brings remarkable
results to the business. He reinforced the idea that entrepreneurship isn’t a solo journey. We need
to share the knowledge and being open to learning from others which can provide growth
opportunities, and appreciating others’ contributions. This can be resulted in long-term impact
for building a strong relationship towards another.

In summary, these principles are vital for anyone especially me to create something impactful
and sustainable in the future. In my opinion, I gain beneficial knowledge from the speech and the
course as I know these are something that I will ise in the future. However during the class, I
couldn’t participate because I was breaking my fast in the restaurant.
