Materials:
1. Bunny size – 25 cm (10 in), bear size – 18 cm (7 in)
2. Safety eyes size 10 mm
3. Safety nose size 11 mm
4. 4 mm hook
5. Yarn:
For the bunny:
Super Bulky/Super Chunky velvet yarn - Light gray Himalaya
Dolphin Baby shade 80351 (0.5 a skein)
Super Bulky/Super Chunky velvet yarn - Pink for the heart
Himalaya Dolphin Baby shade 80319 (0,3 a skein)
For the bear:
Super Bulky/Super Chunky velvet yarn - Brown Himalaya Dolphin
Baby shade 80337 (0.5 a skein)
Super Bulky/Super Chunky velvet yarn - Pink for the heart
Himalaya Dolphin Baby shade 80309 (0,3 a skein)
You can use any similar yarn (velvet, chenille, velour) with similar
characteristics: 100 g/120 m, 100 g/131 yards.
6. Iris yarn for sewing pieces and toys decoration
7. Stuffing material (polyester)

Arms for bunny / bear (make 2):

Work in gray / brown:

1. 6 sc into MR (6)

2. 6 Inc (12)

3-5. 12 sc (12)

Do not stuff the arms.

Fold the arm in half and work 5 sc through both halves.

Fasten off and cut the yarn. Crochet the second arm similarly.

We will sew the arms to the body later.

Work in gray:

Stuff the legs slightly.

Fold the leg in half and work 5 sc through both halves.

Fasten off and cut the yarn. Crochet the second leg similarly.

We will sew the legs to the body later.

Leave the loop. Leave a yarn tail about 20 cm.

Crochet the second piece in the same way. Having made the second
piece, do not cut the yarn.

Count 4 sc to the left from the open stitch of the first piece (as in the
photo). Insert the hook in the loop of the first piece and go on
crocheting around the first piece. I worked about 10 sc.

Connect the two pieces together (the place where you left 4 sc). Using
the yarn tail from the first piece, join the 2 pieces on the inner side
working 4 sc (photo)

Fasten off and cut the yarn. Crochet both pieces around – work 20 sc
across the first piece and then 20 sc across the second piece.

Stuff the body and head as you go.

Insert safety eyes between rounds 10 and 11 at the distance of 6 sc.

Finish stuffing the head.

Close the hole using a needle, fasten off and cut the yarn and weave
in.

Chain 5.

Starting from the second chain on the hook:

Fasten off and cut the yarn.

Insert the nose between rounds 2 and 3.

Optionally you can simply embroider the nose.

Sew the muzzle between rounds 5 and 10, stuffing it in the process.

Embroider eyebrows.

Insert the nose between rounds 2 and 3.

Optionally you can simply embroider a nose.

Fasten off and cut the yarn.

Do not stuff the ears.

Fold in half and sew across 2 edges. Sew on between rounds 11 and 18
of the head.

Needle Sculpting of the muzzle for bunny/bear:

I SHOW ON OTHER TOY, BUT THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE THE

SAME!

Insert the needle on the bottom of the muzzle (point 1) and come out
in the outer eye corner (point 2). Then enter at point 3 and come out
in the on the bottom of the muzzle (point 4). The points of needle
inserting and pulling out should be located 2-3 sc from each other.
Repeat the same steps for the second eye (1-5-6-4). Pull on the
thread to get the desired result, fasten off and weave in.

Bunny assembly:

1. Sew the head to the heart shaped body.

2. Sew the arms on both sides of the body between rounds 4 - 8.

Sew the arms to the heart as if the toy holds it.

3. Sew the legs between rounds 15 and 19 of the body

4. Embroider toes on the legs.

5. Embroider eyebrows.

Bear assembly:

1. Sew the head to the heart shaped body.

2. Embroider eyebrows.

3. Sew the arms on both sides of the body between rounds 4 - 8.

Sew the arms to the heart as if the toy holds it.

5. Embroider toes on the legs.
