How to use the H5P tool on an LMS to create interactive content Mark the words

Option 1:

Step 1: Click on the Dashboard and select Start a New Course

Step 2: Give the new course a name and a corresponding reference code as the short
name of the course.

Step 3: Click to select the newly created course and the interface will display 1 more
module => Click the plus sign (+) to add a new module
Step 4: Continue to click the plus sign (+) to create a new assignment.

Select an external tool


Select H5P Cohota

Click Create New

Name the title and select the interaction type as Mark the words
Step 5: Start Creating Title Content

Enter a Title

Teacher enters the title

Create "Choose the right keywords"

The teacher selects "Create New Content" and selects "Select the correct keyword" from the
Content Type list.
Draft "exact keywords"

The editor will appear. The window will have the following interface:

In Task Description, the teacher enters text describing the solution to the student. The text
is required and must be valid.

Defining tasks

In Text School, teachers add their text and identify the words that students need to choose.
This can be done by placing the word in the middle of the asterisk as follows: This is the
*answer*.

For example, if the teacher wants to highlight the word "homework". It can be
written as follows:

At home, I often help my parents with *housework*.

If you need instructions on how to create content, you can press the "Show Instructions"
button at any time and the tutorial pane will open.

Setting the Point Interval

Based on the student's score, you can make appropriate comments:


You can add grade intervals and corresponding comments for students. Select "Split evenly"
so that the system divides the points of each comment evenly.

Installing customizations

● Behavioural settings:
o Enable Retry .
o Enable Show solution button
o Automatically check answers after input
o Case sensitive: students need to answer correctly and accurately as the
answer to be counted as correct. Including punctuation, spaces, capital
letters,...
o Required all fields to be answered before the solution can be viewed:
required that all fields must be filled in before students can view the answer
(if the answer is allowed)
o Put input fields on separate lines: instead of typing directly into a blank box,
students will fill in the answer on a separate line.
o Show confirmation dialog on Check
o Show confirmation dialog on Retry
o Accept minor spelling errors: when students fill in a misspelled answer, it will
still be accepted as correct with a spelling error.
● Customize text/content for buttons/name labels/notifications : customize default
texts, name labels, button labels, and notifications for learning materials.

Click the save button when you're done creating

Teachers only need to "Embed" to add to the teaching activity or add it as a graded
assignment for students to perform.
Option 2:

Can create any assignment

Then tap on the exercise that will appear on the interface

H5P is integrated across all compilation tools. The teacher selects the "H5P" button on the
toolbar to perform the compilation.

*Note: Teachers can find the H5P tool in the tool extension if the H5P is hidden in case
there are multiple built-in tools.

The tool window appears:


� Select "embedded" to use the available learning materials
� Select "create new" if you want to prepare new learning materials

If "Create New" Teacher enters a title and selects the appropriate type of interaction to start
the process.
