Inaya:
Man, I don't know why everyone talks about fitness so much. I’m perfectly fine just chilling. Why
do I need to work out?
Tayeba:
Because you can feel *way* better, dude. Trust me, it’s not just about looking good. It’s about
feeling good.
Inaya:
Yeah, I’m good with my snacks and Netflix. Why change?
Tayeba:
I get it, but imagine waking up and feeling awake and refreshed with your blood pumping.
Inaya :
Eh, I feel awake enough with my morning coffee.
Tayeba:
That’s the thing though, coffee only gives you a temporary boost. Exercise, on the other hand,
makes your body energized, it even releases stress.
Inaya :
But it’s so much effort. I have to actually get up and move... ugh.
Tayeba:
It doesn’t have to be intense. Start small. A walk, a few stretches, maybe some light weights.
Your body will thank you in the long run. Plus, it helps with sleep, digestion, and keeps you from
getting sick so often.
Inaya :
Okay, but I still don't get why it’s worth it. Like, what do I gain besides just being “healthier”?
Taybea :
A LOTT! Stronger muscles, better posture, and you can do more without getting tired. You ever
try carrying groceries up three flights of stairs without getting winded?
Inaya:
*Ugh*, I’ve never tried, but sounds awful.
Tayeba:
Exactly. But if you work out, you won’t even notice. Plus, it’s easier to maintain a healthy weight,
and trust me, you don’t want to be carrying extra pounds around when you’re older. It's just...
easier on your body.
Inaya:
Hmm. Maybe it’s not *that* bad... Do you think a lazy guy like me could get into it?
Tayeba:
Of course! Start with baby steps. Maybe one workout a week, then two. Make it fun—try a sport
or a class you like. It’s all about consistency, and before you know it, you’ll feel way better.
Inaya:
Okay, okay, maybe I’ll give it a shot. But you gotta promise me no crazy diets or anything,
alright?
Tayeba:
Deal. We’ll keep it chill. Just promise me you’ll move more, okay? Trust me, you’ll start seeing
the benefits, and you won’t look back.
Inaya:
Alright, I’ll try. But if I end up breaking any bones, I’m blaming you!
Tayeba:
Haha, deal! But you’ll thank me later.
