🎤 Slide 1 – Title Slide
Speaker: CA
“Good day everyone! We are Group __, and today, we invite you to dive with us into one of the
most exciting and unforgettable activities on earth—Scuba Diving.
By the end of this presentation, we hope we can inspire you to someday explore the
underwater world yourselves. Let’s get started!”
🎤 Slide 3 – What Is Scuba Diving?
Speaker: Yuan
“Scuba Diving means Self-Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus.
It allows a person to breathe underwater using a tank, regulator, and special equipment.
People dive for recreation, adventure, science, rescue work, photography, and conservation.
It’s more than just swimming underwater—it’s exploring another world.”
🎤 Slide 4 – Why People Love Scuba
Diving
Speaker: Yuan
“Scuba diving is loved worldwide because it gives you this incredible, floating feeling—almost
like flying.
You get to observe marine animals up close, explore reefs and wrecks, and experience peace
that you can’t find on land.
It’s a great stress reliever and a life-changing adventure.”
Transition: “Now that we know what it is, let’s talk about what divers do underwater.”
🎤 Slide 5 – What Do We Do in Scuba
Diving?
Speaker: Klair
“Divers do a lot more than just swim.
We explore coral reefs, enter shipwrecks, watch marine animals, and take underwater photos.
Some divers even help in coral restoration and scientific research.
Every dive is a new adventure—no two underwater experiences are ever the same.”
🎤 Slide 6 – Basic Equipment in Scuba
Diving
Speaker: Klair
“These are the essentials we use to survive and explore underwater:
● Mask so we can see clearly
● Fins for efficient movement
● Wetsuit for warmth and protection
● BCD or Buoyancy Control Device to float or sink properly
● Regulator to breathe from the tank
● Scuba tank with compressed air
● Weights to help us descend
● Dive computer to track depth and time
All these work together to keep divers safe and comfortable.”
🎤 Slide 7 – Safety Measures: BEFORE the
Dive
Speaker: Ladonna
“Before any dive, safety always comes first.
We check our equipment through the BWRAF process:
● BCD
● Weights
● Releases
● Air
● Final check
We listen to the dive master, plan the dive, and practice hand signals.
Preparation is the key to a safe and enjoyable dive.”
🎤 Slide 8 – Safety Measures: DURING the
Dive
Speaker: Ladonna
“During the dive, divers descend slowly, equalize often, and—very importantly—never hold their
breath.
We always stay close to our buddy, check our air, and keep buoyancy under control.
And of course, we respect marine life—no touching, no chasing, no stepping on corals.”
🎤 Slide 9 – Safety Measures: AFTER the
Dive
Speaker: Joedi
“After the dive, we ascend slowly and do a safety stop at around 5 meters.
We log our dive, hydrate, rest, and rinse our equipment.
Another important rule: avoid flying for at least 18–24 hours to prevent decompression
sickness.
Diving doesn’t end when you reach the surface—proper aftercare matters too.”
🎤 Slide 10 – Best Tourist Spots for Scuba
Diving
Speaker: Joedi
“The Philippines is one of the best diving destinations in the world.
Some incredible spots include:
● Tubbataha Reefs – a UNESCO site
● Apo Reef – second-largest contiguous reef
● Anilao, Batangas – great for photography
● Coron, Palawan – WWII shipwrecks
● Moalboal, Cebu – famous for the sardine run
Outside the Philippines, there’s also the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, Raja Ampat in
Indonesia, and the Blue Hole in Belize.”
Transition: “Now, let’s make this more fun with another activity.”
🎤 Slide 11 – Marine Animals You Might
Meet
Speaker: AJ
“Here are some amazing animals divers often meet underwater:
Sea turtles, whale sharks, reef sharks, manta rays, clownfish, octopus, and colorful
nudibranchs.
Imagine seeing these up close—not behind a screen, but in real life.”
🎤 Slide 13 – Skills Beginners Learn
Speaker: Yuan
“Beginner divers learn essential skills such as buoyancy control, breathing techniques, mask
clearing, and underwater communication.
You don’t have to be an expert swimmer—just comfortable in the water.
Training is guided and beginner-friendly.”
🎤 Slide 14 – Myths vs Facts
Speaker: Klair
“Let’s break a few myths:
Myth: Scuba diving is extremely dangerous.
Fact: With proper training and rules, it’s very safe.
Myth: You need to be a strong swimmer.
Fact: Basic swimming ability is enough.
Myth: Diving is expensive.
Fact: Many local dive shops offer affordable beginner packages.”
🎤 Slide 15 – How to Get Certified as a
Diver
Speaker: Ladonna
“To get certified, you can enroll in programs from PADI, SSI, or NAUI.
You’ll go through knowledge lessons, pool sessions, and open water dives.
It’s structured, guided, and open to anyone who wants to learn.”
🎤 Slide 16 – Why YOU Should Try Diving
Speaker: CA
“Scuba diving gives you access to a world most people never get to see.
It helps you build confidence, reduces stress, and strengthens awareness of marine life.
And honestly—it’s one of the most memorable experiences you can ever have.”
🎤 Slide 18 – Closing: Ready to Dive In?
Speaker: All Members
(Everyone steps forward slightly.)
Together:
“Are you ready to dive into the adventure?”
CA: “Thank you for listening!”
🎤 Slide 19 – Q&A
Speaker: Joedi
“We’re happy to answer your questions—anything about diving, marine life, equipment, or how
to get started.”
