Remember that linear change is just "rise over run": every fixed step in x adds the same

Exponential Growth Questions
Exponential patterns grow by a constant multiplier, not a constant add-on. When two
outputs are one step apart, divide the later value by the earlier one to grab the growth
factor b, then use repeated multiplication to move farther along the sequence.
