1. How to Turn On a Computer


• Ensure the computer is properly connected to power.
• Press the power button on the CPU or laptop.
• Wait for the system to load (booting process).

2. Understanding the Booting Process


When you turn on the computer, it performs several internal checks and loads the operating
system. This process is called booting. Once completed, the desktop appears.

3. How to Shut Down a Computer Properly


• Click on the Start menu.

• Wait until the computer turns off completely.
Proper shutdown protects the system from file damage and hardware issues.

4. Restart vs Sleep vs Shutdown

• Sleep: Saves current work and reduces power usage but doesn't turn off fully.
• Shutdown: Turns off the system completely.
