What was our last lesson all about? Our last topic is all
Lea, please answer about polygon
Yes, polygon.
And when we say polygon.
It is what?
It is a close plane figure that has sides and angles.
What are the 2 plane figures that we discussed? Triangle and
Quadrilateral
Yes, very good!
What is a triangle?
Triangle is a plane
figures that has 3 sides
How about the Quadrilateral? and 3 angles
That’s correct! A plane figure that has 4
sides and 4 angles
B. EXPLORE
Motivation
Class do you want to watch a cartoon?
Yes teacher
Okay good, I have here a link now you can watch
this for you to understand more about our topic
(The learners will watch
the said link)
[Link]
Do you understand children?
Yes ma’am
I will conduct an activity in which I will flash the
meaning of the different kinds of lines and angles.
Whoever knows the answer will tell what kinds of
angles or lines it
Are you ready?
Yes, we are

An angle that Measures more than 90 ̊ .
Obtuse angle
A line that will never met
Parallel line
A line that intersects and met at a point
Intersecting line
An angle has 2 equal sides
Isosceles triangle
An angle that measures less than 90 ̊ .
Acute triangle
Okay very good!
Those are the meanings of different kinds of lines
and angles
So, Sino ang may idea kung ano ang tatalakayin
natin ngayon?
About triangle
Okay correct very good!
C. EXPLAIN
Presentation
I will show you a picture of different objects with
the shape of triangle and you will determine what is
the name of this object.
Observe the different object.
How will you guys describe this different triangular
object?
So, this different triangular object I’ve shown has
different sizes

It means they’re all different in sides and angles
What do we call this plane figure? A triangle
Yes, very good!
Triangle - is a polygon with three corners and three
sides, one of the basic shapes in geometry. The
corners, also called vertices, are zero-dimensional
points while the sides connecting them, also called
edges, are one-dimensional line segments.
So here is the classification of a triangle according
to their angles
1. RIGHT TRIANGLE
-a triangle in which two sides are
perpendicular forming a right
angle.
Right triangle has a right angle which
measures 90 degrees
2. ACUTE TRIANGLE
This has 3 acute angles which measures
less than 90 degrees.

degrees
Do you understand?
So, triangles also classified according to its
sides,
1. EQUILATERAL TRIANGLE
It has 3 equal sides
2. ISOSCELES TRIANGLE
It has 2 equal sides
[Link]
It has no equal sides
So, I think you’ve already understood the topic

Since you understand now the lesson let us now (Each group will go to
proceed to the group activity their respective area)
I’ll divide you into 2 groups first group will be on
the right side and the second group will be on the left
side
You were going to draw any of the triangles using a
compass or a ruler.
I will give you 3 minutes to do your task (The students will do
their task)
Once you’re done, please submit your outputs in
front (The group 1 will submit
their work)
Are you ready? Now please start
Okay time’s up
(The group 2 will pass
Submit your work class
their work)
How about group 2?
Okay very good class I will check this later
Now, you’re going to paste on the board a SMILEY
face if it is YES, SAD face if NO.
Okay ready?
Yes teacher

So again, class how are triangles classified?
Yes Febbie? Triangles can be
classified according to
Okay very good!
is angles and sides.
A triangle classified according to angles as obtuse,
right, and acute angles. It can be also classified
according to sides as equilateral, isosceles, or
scalene triangle.
E. EVALUATE
