VOICE & ACCENT NEURTALIZATION – BUSINESS ENGLISH

This program is designed to help participants better understand their


international clients. The accent training provided leads to a noticeable
improvement in speech clarity and comprehension within just a few classes.

Course Content:
1. Accent Introduction:

A basic accent introduction typically involves familiarizing learners with the key aspects of
an accent, its features, and how it can impact communication.

2. Accent Neutralization: -

 Identifying and Addressing Mother Tongue Influence


Recognizing how one's native language affects pronunciation and working to
minimize these influences.
 Precise Way of Pronouncing Words
Focusing on clear articulation of each word to ensure accurate pronunciation.
 Vowel Sounds and Consonant Sounds
Mastering both vowel and consonant sounds is essential for clear communication
and correct pronunciation.
 Better Way of Using a Neutral Accent
Developing a neutral accent helps in being easily understood by speakers of various
languages and dialects, without any strong regional influence.

3. Difference between various Accents :-

English accents vary widely across regions and cultures, influencing pronunciation,
intonation, rhythm, and even vocabulary. In this class we will discuss about what are some
of the most prominent differences in English accents.
4. MTI Removal

MTI removal is the process of reducing or eliminating the influence of a speaker's native
language (mother tongue) on their pronunciation, especially when speaking a second
language like English. The set of techniques taught in this class will make the learner to
adhere to it and slowly he/she will be in a better position to come out of the MTI.

5. Improving Pronunciation

Improving pronunciation in English (or any language) takes practice, patience, and the right
techniques. This session deals with the way words are supposed to be pronounced and
enunciated and an abundant amount of exercise are discussed in the class for betterment.
By integrating these techniques into your language learning routine, it will gradually
improve your pronunciation, leading to clearer and more confident speech.

6. Speech Mechanism

The speech mechanism is a highly coordinated system involving the lungs, vocal cords,
resonating cavities (throat, mouth, nose), and articulators (tongue, teeth, lips, and palate),
all of which work together to produce speech. This session will talk about the practicality of
how a speech is produced and the components to aid it. Learner will easily get an
understanding about the scientific involvement in this with various exercise involved.

7. Mouth and Face Relaxation for better Pronunciation :

By incorporating these relaxation techniques into your daily practice routine, you'll improve
your pronunciation and speech fluency. Consistent relaxation exercises help reduce the
tightness and tension that can negatively impact how you speak, leading to clearer and
more confident communication.
