Dear Parent,
Please note the following with regard to the three day two-night excursion to Ooty for the
students of Grade 9 from Thursday, 6th November to Saturday, 8th November 2025.
● All students must report to school on their own by 05.00 am on Thursday, 6th
November.
● Students may wear smart casuals.
Please avoid:
- Torn or distressed jeans
- Low-cut tops or tank tops
- Short shorts or skirts (above mid-thigh)
- Excessively tight or revealing clothing
- Clothing with inappropriate language or imagery)
● Minimum luggage to be carried (a backpack or duffel bag & one hand baggage
only)
● Keep belongings safe and represent the school with dignity.
● Wear comfortable walking shoes
● Do not carry any valuables. Students will be responsible for any loss of valuables
or money. Students are allowed to carry an amount not exceeding Rs 1000 as
pocket money for personal expenses.

● Carry all toiletries required as well as medicines if any. Handover the medicines to
the accompanying teacher before the commencement of the trip.
● Carry your I.D. cards without fail.
● Use of swimming pools or any water based activities will not be allowed.
● Electronic gadgets are not permitted on the trip to encourage students to
disconnect from screens and reconnect with nature, peers, and themselves,
fostering a more immersive and engaging experience. However they may carry a
DSLR camera. Any prohibited gadget found will be confiscated and not returned.
● Do not carry junk food or any sugary/aerated drinks.
● Students are advised to report to their teacher in-charge in case of any problem.
● No student will be allowed to meet any relative or friend during the course of the
trip.
● Trip location updates and photos will be posted in the WhatsApp broadcast
groups formed by the teacher in-charges.
● Students MUST strictly adhere to the rules and regulations given by the teachers
and tour operators and be on their best behaviour throughout the trip.
● Do not move away from the group without permission.
● Possession or consumption of prohibited items such as tobacco, e-cigarettes,
vapes, alcohol, drugs, or any other similar substances is strictly forbidden during
the excursion. Violation will result in immediate disciplinary action and may lead
to exclusion from the trip.
● Refrain from rough behaviour, use of offensive language or display of affection.
● Students MUST respect the curfew hours announced by the teacher-in-charge
after the day's activities and not leave their rooms during designated curfew hours.
● Students are expected to abide by the school's code of conduct at all times during
the trip.
● Be punctual, courteous, and respectful to everyone.
● Students are expected to be back in school by 9:30 pm on Saturday, 8th November.
While returning, parents may pick their ward from the drop off points opted in
the consent form ( Kalamasserry, Karingachira, School campus).
Any violation of these guidelines will invite serious consequences, including serious
disciplinary action.

Please submit the CONSENT FORM by 10:00 am tomorrow Wednesday, 05
November, 2025. This form is mandatory to submit for the field trip.
