Subject: Request for Understanding and Alignment on Working Hours, Salary, and
Employment Terms

Before discussing my concerns, I’d like to briefly highlight my background. I bring over 15 years of
experience in garments manufacturing, including senior roles as Production Head and Factory
Manager, where I managed complete production cycles, multiple departments, cost control, SOPs, and
large teams.
I believe open communication is essential for building a healthy and long-term working relationship. I
would like to discuss a few practical aspects of the offer so that I can perform my role sustainably and
give my best to the company in the long term.
I would like to start with the working hours. The schedule from 9:30am to 9:00Pm is very long daily
hours across six days a week. I realized this exceeds standard working hours under UAE Labor Law. As
per the Federal Decree, the maximum standard working hours are 8 hours per day or 48 hours per
week.
I would like to clearly mention that I can reasonably manage work until a maximum of 7:00 PM. I
genuinely believe this balance will help me remain productive and consistent in delivering results.
Salary & Cost of Living:
I would also like to speak openly about my salary expectations in light of my experience and the
actual scope of my role. Now that I am living in Dubai, I have a clearer understanding of the cost of
living accommodation, transport, and daily expenses are significantly higher than expected and
cannot be manageable in AED 4,000 only.
Considering the responsibilities of the Production Manager role, the current salary will be challenging
to manage practically. Based on my experience and responsibilities, I believe a fair and sustainable
salary should be in the range of AED 7,000 to 9,000 Minimum.
In addition, I have family responsibilities back home and regularly send financial support to my family.
A stable and fair salary is important for me to manage both my living expenses here and my family
commitments.
I would also like clarification on annual leave, as the offer letter mentions unpaid leave, whereas my
understanding is that annual leave is paid as per UAE Labor Law. I would appreciate alignment on this
point so that everything remains legally clear for both sides.
Please understand that I am sharing these points not as complaints, but as an honest effort to ensure
clarity, balance, and sustainability. My goal is to build a long-term, productive relationship. I’m
confident that if we find a balanced solution, I will be able to deliver strong results consistently
InshaAllah, and I believe that with mutual understanding we can reach a solution that is fair for both
sides.
