The line graph illustrates the number of people in thousands that immigrated yearly in three countries-

USA, Canada and Australia – from 1992 and 2001.

In general, it is clear that highest proportion of people was immigrated to USA, the reverse was true for
Australia. Moreover, that for USA showed highest proportion during period given, although that country
underwent sharply decreasing.

Focusing on figures( USA) that showed high proportions, in 1991, the figure for USA was 1400 and it was
the highest number compared to others, after which this figure decreased sharply to 1000 and
experienced a fluctuation around approximately 700 and 1000 . Finally, that for USA showed almost 900
at the end of the period.

The figures-Canada and Australia- that illustrates low amount of immigration, these showed 200 and
almost 200 respectively, in 1991. Both figures almost remained unchanged until 2000, after which the
disparity became even more pronounced with former`s increasing to more than 600 and latter`s slightly
decreasing, in 2001.
