In the face of global crises and the rapid advancement of technology, the interconnected realms of social
communications and foreign philology have emerged as crucial fields for fostering resilience, cultural
understanding, and innovative problem-solving. Institutions worldwide are at the forefront of addressing these
pressing challenges, recognizing that collaboration across disciplines and national borders is essential to
navigating an era marked by complexity and uncertainty. This conference draws on the collective expertise of
renowned institutions, including the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Sumy State University
(Ukraine), Chouaib Doukkali University (Morocco), the University of Vienna (Austria), the University of Zagreb
(Croatia), the University of Kragujevac (Serbia), and the European Danube Academy (Germany). These
partnerships underscore the shared commitment to exploring the dynamic interplay between communication
strategies, language education, and societal resilience in times of upheaval.
The challenges of modern crises, whether geopolitical, economic, or environmental, underscore the
necessity of interdisciplinary approaches that unite diverse academic and professional perspectives.
Contributing to this global dialogue are institutions like the University of Warsaw (Poland), Yaşar University
(Turkey), The College of New Jersey (USA), and the College of Foreign Languages at Gazi University (Turkey).
Together, these institutions aim to explore topics ranging from the role of media technologies in shaping public
discourse to safeguarding linguistic diversity as a cornerstone of cultural identity. In such times, effective
communication and language education are indispensable tools for building bridges across cultures, fostering
resilience, and adapting to new realities.
This international collaboration serves as a platform to exchange ideas, share innovative research, and
address the evolving challenges facing social communications and language studies. By bringing together
experts from Europe, North America, and the Middle East, the conference emphasizes the importance of
promoting European values of intercultural dialogue, inclusivity, and respect for linguistic diversity. The
combined efforts of these academic and professional communities aim not only to enhance our understanding

The 2nd International Scientific and Practical Conference on Strategic Innovations of Social
Communications and Foreign Philology in Crisis Times aims to foster a comprehensive dialogue on the

6. Promote European values of inclusivity and intercultural dialogue through interdisciplinary educational

The conference materials will be published in an electronic collection (PDF format) during
two weeks after its completion and posted on the official website of the Faculty of Foreign
Philology and Social Communications of Sumy State University and also sent by e-mail to all
participants at the address specified in the application form.

The authors may also publish their works in professional journals of Category B
«Philological treatises» ([Link] and «Obraz»
([Link] following the requirements specified on the publishers'
websites.

The form of the conference is online.

Participation in the conference is free of charge.

Requirements for conference proceedings formatting:

Font: Times New Roman, size 14, line spacing – 1.5, paragraph indent – 1.25,
all margins – 2 cm.
Volume: 2–4 pages.
Languages: Ukrainian, English.
The number of co-authors of the manuscript should not exceed three.
Sequence of placement of materials: author's last name and initials; ORCID; academic degree
and/or academic title (if available), position; place of work or study (exact official name of the
institution); city, country. Left alignment. Then, through an interval, the title of the work is
specified.
List of references (literature is presented in alphabetical order and formatted in accordance
with the requirements of the international style APA Style 7). Internal links in the text are
indicated in brackets: (Malanyuk, 2023).
