02. Setting Up the Apple/iOS Calendar +
Reminders Shortcut
Apple/iOS Calendar + Reminders Users:
It is essential to note that the integration of Apple/iOS Calendar + Reminders is a shortcut I developed to streamline
tasks on your device. This feature enables easy access to your Apple/iOS Calendar from your digital planner. However,
it does not automatically sync your Apple/iOS Calendar with your digital planner.

If you want to use the Apple/iOS Calendar + Reminders

integration, you'll need to install the “CalendareremindersApp”
Shortcut on your iOS device. Tap on the link below and follow the
prompts. When configuring the shortcut, make sure to select the
app that you are using for your your digital planner (for example
Goodnotes). Without the installation of this shortcut the
Apple/iOS Calendar + Reminders icons will not work.
Google Calendar Users: If you use the Google Calendar, it will
open right up, letting you connect it to your digital planner
without any extra steps. No need to worry about installing any
shortcuts, that's only for Apple/iOS Calendar + Reminders users.

06. Hyperlink Navigation: Tips for Goodnotes

Users
IF YOU'RE USING GOODNOTES ON AN iPAD DEVICE

Please keep in mind that the hyperlinks in the planners won't work if you're on 'Edit' mode. So, to use the
digital planners, you need to switch to 'Read Only' mode. Read Only mode allows you to quickly scroll
through your digital planners without making unnecessary changes to our notes.

Toggle between 'Read Only' mode and 'Edit' mode. To do this, simply tap the pencil icon. Once you're in
"Read Only" mode, you can tap on the icons, tabs, and other hyperlinks in the planners to navigate around.

08. Recommendations

Optimized for iPads and Tablets:

My digital planners are tailored for use on iPads and tablets, especially when paired with an Apple Pencil or stylus
pen.
Mobile Devices for Quick Checks:
While they technically work on mobile devices, I recommend using them primarily on iPads and tablets. The smaller
screens and less precise touch interfaces of mobile devices may affect your user experience. Text and buttons could
be too small to read or tap easily, causing some frustration.
Recommended Apps:
Goodnotes (iOS only), Notability (iOS), Noteshelf (iOS and Android), Xodo (iOS, Android & Microsoft), Penly app
(Android).
