Introduction
To our visitors, our Sangguniang Bayan Members who are present today, our Barangay Council headed
by Hon. Roy B. Pugao, Sangguniang Kabataan Council headed by Hon. Nino Kennith Glen S. Garcia and to the
rest of the youth organization, to our invited guest speaker who will be introduced later, athletes, coaches,
fellow Ondoyanons, ladies and gentlemen, once again, good afternoon!

The sports events we are currently conducting aim to improve the physical wellness and mental
alertness of our players. However, its goals go beyond just physical fitness. It also strives to produce
Ondoyanon athletes who are disciplined, courageous, determined, and tough. We want our athletes to
understand the importance of teamwork, value friendship and camaraderie, develop leadership qualities, and
most importantly, apply these values in their lives.
So, again, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Opening Program of Barangay Ondoy’s Sportsfest
with the theme: “Ugyon Pamatan-on 2024: Buylog Hinampang para sa Pagtatap sa Palibot it Madinaeag-ong
Ondoyanon”

Kabataan Chairperson, Hon. Nino Kennith Glen S. Garcia. Let’s give him a round of applause.

Thank you SK for that wonderful message! Today’s affair is being graced by a special person who will in
a minute will deliver his words of wisdom to our sports enthisiasts and fellow Ondoyanons. To learn more
about him, may we call on Hon. Kris Dane Salinog - SK 1st Kagawad, to introduce our guest speaker.

Ladies and gentlemen, it is an honor to present once again our guest speaker, Hon. Romeo “Lolong” M.

While lighting the Torch, say this: This torch symbolizes unity, the coming together of athletes, teams,

Now that the torch of passion and sportsmanship is lit, let its flame illuminate our path as we embark

Speaking of sportsmanship, let us reaffirm our commitment to fair play and solidarity with the Oath of

Closing Spiel
Thank you so much SK Jovic. Well, this is just the first part of today’s affair, mamaya we will be more
thrilled when the PASIKLABAN starts. Again, this afternoon’s affair is truly a very memorable one for everyone
else here and I’m sure glad to be part of it. All is well that ends well.
