BMS Hierarchical
Architecture
BMS Hierarchical Architecture
As per the level of monitoring and control, there
are (3 or 4)levels in Building Management System.
- Field Level (FL)
It includes sensors, actuators, dampers, etc.
- Automation Level (AL)
• Integration Level (3rd Party Systems)
• Control Level
It includes a microcontroller and logic program
- Management Level (ML)
It includes operator-friendly control system software.
