Slide 1 – Introduction to Innoviti

Good Morning/ afternoon to one and all present here. Thank you for giving us this opportunity to
present our new age tools. We are Innoviti Technologies. You have been in touch with XXX and YYY
from our side till now. Considering the world wide changes in retail industry post covid, we have
developed couple of new age tools. I want to present those tools to you and understand if we can
work together for those tools. Some of these tools will save your cost and some of these will increase
your revenue. Let me walk you through the presentation.

We are one of the very few organizations in India that have received an in-principle Payment
Aggregator license from the RBI. This is a testament to our best practices and adherence to all
compliances.

Slide 2 – Innoviti Business Overview

A quick overview into Innoviti’s journey over the years. We have processed over 60,000Cr worth of
GTV in FY 22 and are expected to surpass 72,000Cr GTV this FY. We have a dominant market share of
approximately more than >77% in the Enterprise retail segment. We are present in 2000+ cities with
offices in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Indore and Chennai. Bengaluru being our headquarters.

We have the highest number of patents to our name. 9 awarded and 26 more in pipeline. This is
more than any Indian SaaS organisation and even after combining all the fintechs in India. This is
again a testament to our latest Technological practises.

We are a great place to work certified organization. Our trust score last year was 70 and this year it is
85.

Slide 3 – Indian Consumption Story

Let me share our learnings about changing consumer preferences and therefore change in retailer
approach towards market.

India has been burgeoning with opportunities. It recently overtook UK to become the 5th largest
economy in the world. Retail Markets are growing at 12% CAGR.

At 18% CAGR, organized trade (e-commerce and exclusive brand outlets) is fast moving from
unorganized to Organized trade.

Digital payments have become the preferred mode of payments and are reaching new heights, after
the inception of UPI. Consumers prefer offers, based on their preferences of brands or regions or
shopping time. On the other side, retailers need to take care of their margins without losing
customers. Retailers look for partners who can fund offers along with them to retain consumers.
Most of the time, banks play the role of funding partner with retailers in order to drive preference of
their cards.

With fast changing consumer patterns, businesses need to change fast, try things fast, fail fast or
succeed fast. Earlier, retailers used to structure co-funded offers along with banks twice a year. But
now they need to structure every alternate month. So retailers need digital platform to implement
offers quickly across all outlets or on website or on mobile app.

Now a days, consumers search product and offers online but buy offline. This also means that
retailers need to have consistency in offers through various channels – online and offline.
This change in new generation behaviour demands consistency yet flexibility across online and
offline channels. This is possible only if there is modern platform which can communicate and
implement common offer on terminals, website and mobile app. simultaneously.

Slide 4 – The Problem

Today retailers are looking at payment transactions just if the money for the goods they sold was
credited into their account or not. That’s it.

Merchants are not studying what card a customer is paying through? The customer behind the
payment was upper class or middle class, preferring visa or mastercard or rupay? How is he paying
for goods- Cash/Card or UPI? If UPI app, then googlepay or amazonpay.

Today, payments systems are viewed in Isolation. They are not connected to sales data like which SKU
was sold on Axis premium card or googlepay? Retailers who are not linking sales data with payments
data, are losing tremendous value due to this gap.

For Example, imagine a customer owning Axis Burgundy Credit card, but is entering shoppers stop
and buying only Socks (low-cost item). He is actually a High Net-worth Individual (HNI) because he
has Axis burgundy card, who can spend lakhs of rupees. Such customers can be targeted for
additional high margin or high-end products like shirts, trousers, shoes, etc

Targeting purely on sales data has diminishing ROI as in all merchants have access to common
marketing platforms such as Google, Facebook and Instagram to reach their customers. They need
unique tools and ways to target their customers better.

Ultimately, Banks, brands and merchants are trying to acquire the common consumer, but they need
digital platform to implement offers based on payment option (card bank and UPI app.) + SKU
(margin basis and movement of goods basis) + purchase location (store, city, state, etc). Today, there
is not single platform and easier way to that brings all 3 parties together.

Slide 5- The Solution

Innoviti’s payment based retail SaaS platform integrates with various systems of banks and retailers.
On banks side, our platform is integrated with their payment system, loan origination system and
card management system. On retailers side, our platform gets integrated with billing systems, ERP
systems, CRM systems, marketing systems and dealer management systems.

We integrate with merchant’s existing ERP to know what the current stock in the store is, how many
in his warehouse etc.

If merchants has a customer base of X in certain region and promotions have to be configured only
for those, then we integrate with his CRM.

If communications have to be sent out regarding the promotions, marketing systems have to be
integrated.

If monetary rewards have to be paid out to sub dealers of a merchant, for meeting their targets, we
integrate with Dealer Management systems.

There are multiple tools we have based on various integrations.

On payment tools, we help retailers collecting payments through EDC, PG and whatsapp, from
consumer and payout to vendors.
On finance side, we have multiple tools, like, integrated payment software with billing application to
get reconciled information. Our tool provides reconciliation based on amount and invoice number to
retailers.

Another tool called liquidity management tool makes sure acquiring bank gets amount in their
current account, which was confirmed by retailer to bank at the time of signing of deal. Third tool is
affordability tool which allows consumers to take loan against card on EDC, website or mobile app.

On sales and marketing side, we have multiple tools, like affordability offers in various products
which can be funded by banks or merchant or both, instant cashbacks based on high margin or low
margin SKUs or region of store, etc. EMI Wallet – A defined Marketing Budget is given out to
merchants so that he can give out Zero-cost EMIs to his customers or how he intends to utilize this
amount (Genie customers)

Price Match – Merchants can compare prices of various CDIT products on the EDC terminal. This is a
feature similar to online price comparison, but to offline merchants (Genie customers)

Online Promotion Engine – Merchants can offer SKU linked Bank funded promotions to their
customers online. Merchants can provide offline like experience online.

For Example, a promotion has to be configured for 8 lakhs loyal members of Shoppers Stop on Axis
Bank, Van Heusen Shirts, at Bengaluru. Here 8 lakhs loyal customers need integration with CRM and
Banking systems, Van Heusen Shirts need ERP integration, at Bengaluru location, integration with
billing systems to accept payments at those stores and need Marketing system integration to send
out communications to those customers.

We will talk more about these tools as we move ahead.

On the right side, these are different channels where our software works, like EDC Terminal, website,
mobile app., QR, etc

Slide 6 – Deep and significant network of integrations

These are the various platforms we are integrating with – Billing, ERP, CRM and E-commerce
integrations on the left and Banking, OEM and Marketing platform integrations on the right.

Slide 7

We are the choice of leaders in serving the leaders in various enterprise industry. In F&G - Reliance,
More Retail, DMart. In Entertainment - PVR and Inox, Electronics – Samsung, One Plus, VIVO etc. In
Healthcare – Manipal Hospitals, Apollo Hospitals, MedPlus. Fashion- Shoppers Stop, Pantaloons.

Shoppers Stop and Tanishq run 100% stores on Innoviti EDC machines – This is how reliable our
systems are.

And we have recently entered the travel industry.

The main reason for us to be preference of leaders – they don’t want weekend calls. The technology
given by other players are outdated i.e. 20 years old and that’s why you hear “their server went
down on weekends or on festivals”. We don’t hear such escalations because we use Artificial
Intelligence at various levels. At the time of routing transactions, at the time of configuring offers, at
support and operations level, etc. Just to give few examples of our modern tech.:
a) Tickets raised by store staff cant be closed by our staff. Tickets get closed only when our system
starts transacting in your store. Our system recognizes from back end whether your system has
started working or not.

b) Our field support people have mobile app. Whenever any store raises ticket, nearest support
person get alert and whenever he resolves the issue, he gets credit for it. This is like Uber drivers get
request for customers’ bookings.

No one else has this much automation in their systems. This is the major reason, our 91% of
terminals are active on weekly basis which means each of our terminal transacts minimum Rs.5000
every week. Others including banks have 65% active terminals on quarterly basis. Till the time they
get to know if their operations team has committed fraud, its too late for them to correct gaps in
system.

Slide 8

These are the various Banks brands and merchants we work with

Slide 9

These are some of the rewards and recognitions we have received over the years

Slide 10

Lets us understand the New-age tools we have developed for progressive businesses like you through
a few case studies

Slide 11

Case Study 1 - This is large format merchant having pan India presence and he wanted to run Product
linked promotions at the same time wanted them to be co-funded by the bank. The merchant is Inox

We were able to run this promotion on uniPAYNext software. So, how does this work you ask? For
example, during the interval of a movie, when a customer orders a small popcorn and taps/swipes
his SBI credit card on Innoviti uniPAYNext, the product would automatically be converted into a large
Popcorn without any intervention of the cashier or customer. This requires deep integration with ERP,
Billing, Marketing and Banking systems.

By running such promotions, there was a 12% increase in Brand recall for the Issuing Bank, 8%
increase in Popcorn sales and 3% more walk-ins to Inox Theatres

Slide 12 - Loyalty renewal Booster

This is a large format, luxury fashion retailer (shoppers Stop). He has his own customer membership
programs and he was struggling to ensures timely renewal of the memberships. The current method
of renewing memberships and collecting the payments was so cumbersome.

The merchant had dedicated sales team who personally called the members and forced them to
renew memberships. The sales team used to call the members to their stores to renew. The sales
staff sometimes sent their Personal QR codes requesting customer to pay to their personal account
and then transfer the amount to merchant accounts – This was not the correct method of renewing
memberships.
Innoviti proposed Trackable Payment Collection link, which is 100% automated and a convenient
process. Merchant could increase the membership renewals by 3X and at the same time save 3000
man hours per year in manual renewal processes

Slide 13

How does Trackable Payment Collection Links work? Merchant’s CRM will trigger links to the list of
customers whose memberships are due. Customers get the link with the amount along with Invoice
(or proforma invoice) attached in a single WhatsApp message. Customer clicks on the link and
automatically all the UPI apps installed on Customer’s phone is displayed. Customer selects his
preferred app and completes the payment. The customer immediately gets a payment confirmation
WhatsApp message (or final invoice copy)

Slide 14 & 15

This is a large format merchant having presence both in online and offline channels intending provide
a uniform omnichannel product linked bank funded promotions online. I.e provide same experience
as offline. He also wanted to view real-time ROI of the omnichannel promotions.

Through Innoviti Omnium, merchants can run bank funded product linked promotions and provide
uniform experience to their consumers omnichannel. Not just that customers get options to either
get discounts or convert them into reward points.

Common questions

Powered by AI

Retailers benefit from integrating payment and sales data by gaining valuable insights into consumer behavior, such as differentiating between high and low-value transactions based on the payment method and customer profile. This integration overcomes the challenge of viewing payment systems in isolation, which leads to missed opportunities in targeting high-value customers. By linking transaction data with sales data, retailers can effectively target high-net-worth individuals with personalized promotions, improve return on investment from marketing campaigns, and optimize inventory and promotional strategies. This approach addresses the fragmented system where sales data and payment data are handled separately .

Innoviti's Trackable Payment Collection Links offer significant operational advantages for membership renewals by automating and streamlining the payment collection process. This system connects with the merchant's CRM to automatically send out payment links to customers whose memberships are due. Customers can then complete the payment using their preferred UPI apps, receiving immediate confirmation through WhatsApp. This approach reduces manual interventions, eliminates risks associated with incorrect or fraudulent transactions involving personal QR codes, and leads to a more efficient renewal process. As a result, merchants experience a threefold increase in renewals while saving substantial man-hours previously spent on manual renewal procedures .

Receiving an in-principle Payment Aggregator license from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) significantly enhances Innoviti Technologies' credibility and industry positioning. It reflects the company's adherence to regulatory standards and best practices, allowing them to offer secure and reliable financial services. This approval enables Innoviti to expand its business operations with confidence, as it assures clients of compliance with strict regulatory frameworks, potentially increasing partnerships and market presence within the financial technology industry. It also demonstrates Innoviti's capability to integrate with various banking systems effectively, further solidifying its market leadership .

The shift in consumer behavior towards omnichannel experiences presents retailers with the challenge of maintaining consistency in offers across both online and offline channels. Consumers now often search for products and offers online but purchase offline. To address these challenges, retailers need a modern platform capable of communicating and implementing common offers on terminals, websites, and mobile apps simultaneously. Innoviti offers a solution that integrates sales and payments data, allowing merchants to structure offers quickly and uniformly across all channels, thus tackling the problem of inconsistency while providing flexibility .

Innoviti's high number of patents in the Indian fintech sector provides significant strategic advantages by establishing technological leadership and intellectual property ownership. These patents protect its innovations, such as sophisticated payment processing systems and integrations, from being easily replicated by competitors. This intellectual property gives Innoviti a competitive edge in offering unique solutions tailored to the dynamically evolving retail landscape. Moreover, patents enhance the company's attractiveness to investors and partners by showcasing its commitment to continual innovation and R&D, thereby fostering trust and confidence. This advantage strengthens Innoviti's market position and facilitates growth and expansion opportunities .

Innoviti enhances the payment experience for large enterprises by deploying advanced, reliable, and integrated payment systems. For example, in sectors like entertainment and retail, Innoviti allows seamless transactions with features like automatic product upgrades during promotions, as seen with Inox's large popcorn offer. The platform's deep integration capabilities across banking, billing, and marketing systems enable swift and efficient promotional management, thus significantly improving consumer interactions. Additionally, its use of AI ensures minimal downtime and excellent customer support, maintaining high terminal activity. These factors not only enhance the sales process but also contribute to increasing customer satisfaction and retention .

Innoviti's payment-based retail SaaS platform facilitates targeted marketing and promotional strategies by integrating with merchant systems like ERPs, CRMs, and billing systems. This integration allows merchants to gather comprehensive consumer transaction data, linking it to specific SKUs and payment methods. Using these insights, merchants can design targeted promotions based on factors such as consumer behavior, product margins, and purchase locations. The platform enables the implementation of offers eligible through specific payment options, effectively customizing promotions to meet diverse consumer preferences. This precision in targeting enhances promotional effectiveness and impacts consumer retention positively .

Modern integration platforms play a crucial role in enhancing the synergy between retailers and banks by enabling seamless orchestration of promotional offers. By integrating with both retailers' (billing, ERP, CRM) and banks' (payment, loan, card management) systems, these platforms allow for the efficient setup and execution of co-funded promotions. For instance, Innoviti's platform facilitates the configuration of product-linked promotions that can be jointly funded and managed by both parties, thus optimizing costs and ensuring consistency across multiple channels. This capability helps both retailers and banks leverage customer insights and target promotions effectively, enhancing customer engagement and loyalty .

Leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) in Innoviti's transaction routing and issue resolution processes significantly enhances operational reliability and efficiency. AI aids in ensuring seamless transaction processing by optimizing the routes through which payments are handled, thus minimizing downtime and errors. Additionally, AI-driven automation in issue resolution empowers front-line support by promptly notifying field staff of issues and enabling real-time resolutions. This system ensures higher response rates and accuracy, preventing prolonged operational disruptions. Consequently, Innoviti experiences higher active terminal utilization, with 91% of terminals remaining operational weekly, compared to competitors' lower activity rates .

Innoviti's uniPAYNext software enhances promotional opportunities for entertainment venues like Inox by integrating deeply with ERP, billing, marketing, and banking systems to facilitate seamless, automatic promotions. For instance, its capability allows for real-time product upgrades, such as converting a small popcorn purchase to a large one during movie intervals when certain credit cards are used. These promotions lead to measurable outcomes, including increased brand recall—12% for participating banks—increased sales, such as an 8% rise in popcorn purchases, and greater consumer footfall—3% more walk-ins at Inox theaters. These outcomes demonstrate the software's effectiveness in leveraging transactional data for impactful promotional activities .
