Learning Objective: To make a model of seismograph and record the
vibrations and explain its working.
To do the case study of any one earthquake prone area.
Locate the earthquake prone places in the world map.
Guidelines for the project
1. The model can be made with available waste materials.
2. Demonstrate the working of the model.
3. Record the vibrations caused due to the turbulence created artificially.
4. Case study – On any one of the earthquake prone places like Japan,
Philippines, Nepal etc. (Write a brief note on its Geographical Location,
Highest magnitude of earthquake recorded in that region, Precautionary
measures taken by the government etc.)
5. Mark the earthquake prone places in a World Map.
6. Each student should include CCL, MEP, MIP and Real-life applications.
7. Please complete the self-assessment and parental feedback form attached.
8. Upload the photo/video of your model and the map work.
