JP: Capability building is important so employees can build up their skills. How does Groz prioritize skill
development, and what are your expectations from employees in this regard?
DB: At Groz, skill development is not just an option—it’s a necessity. Our prime focus is on upgrading employees’
skill sets with quality training rather than quantity. Employees must take ownership of their learning and
continuously enhance their capabilities to meet evolving industry standards. We expect our people to
proactively seek relevant training, apply new knowledge in their roles, and contribute to overall business
excellence.

JP: What should be the ideal training strategy for Groz and how should they leverage the new skills learnt for
professional growth?
DB: The training we want for our employees should focus on skill building i.e. whatever one learns should
be applicable in the real world. Employees should be able to build up their functional expertise in their
respective areas. Various mechanisms like participations in industry interactions, conferences, lectures
by experts—broadens perspectives and fosters innovation. Employees must actively engage in such
opportunities, learn from best practices, and implement improvements within Groz. Moreover, we are
coming up with Groz Academy which will view training from a holistic perspective and will be a blend of
classroom sessions as well as active projects and experiential learnings.

JP: What role will Groz Academy play in transforming the organization, and how should employees align with
this initiative?
DB: Groz Academy is designed to be a game-changer in our learning ecosystem, directly supporting our
mission of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. It aligns with our vision of building a highly
skilled and future-ready workforce. Employees should not wait for training to be assigned—they should
actively demand it, demonstrating a growth mindset. By embracing this culture of continuous learning, they
will not only contribute to their individual growth but also to the long-term success of Groz
