EXTINCTION : The end of a species, it occurs
when the last surviving member of a species dies
A natural phenomenon : when a species is not able
to adapt to its changing environment, it will go
extinct
It usually happens slowly and involves a species.

When many species of organisms disappears over a
short period of time; which was not caused by
changes in the environment but catastrophes;
