1. What is Present Simple?

We use present simple to talk about:

• Daily routines

• Habits

• Things that are always true

Structure:

I/You/We/They + base verb

He/She/It + base verb + s/es

Examples:

I wake up at 6 AM.

They go to school every day.

He plays cricket.

She studies English at FEA.

2. Daily Routine Vocabulary:

wake up, brush, eat, go, work, study, play, sleep.

3. Sample Sentences:

I wake up at 6 AM.

I brush my teeth.

I eat breakfast at 8 AM.

I go to class.

I study English every day.

I help my family at home.

4. Present Simple Rules:

A. Add s/es with He/She/It:

He goes to work.

She watches TV.


B. Negative:

I do not (don’t) play at night.

He does not (doesn’t) eat junk food.

C. Questions:

What do you do every morning?

What does she do on weekends?

5. Role-Play Topics:

• Student + Teacher talking about routine

• Two friends talking about weekdays

• Reporter interviewing a sports player

6. Sample Dialogue:

A: What do you do on weekdays?
