E-PARKING SYSTEM
E-parking system that is designed to make it easier for people to book
parking spaces online .Our e-parking system is to reserve parking spaces in
the immediate parking area .As they need, and to set the period of availability
can add many types of vehicle parking slots. Searching for a vacant parking
space in a metropolitan area is the daily concern for most people and it is time
consuming. The system heavily relies on human interaction with the physical
space and entity. This leads to wastage of human manpower and also parking
spaces at times. It commonly results more traffic load and air pollution in
certain area only for an available parking space.
Advantages:
● Users can get learn about parking areas for particular locations.
● It saves user time in search for parking space availability in such a long
parking area.
● This system provides graphical view of the parking spaces.
Disadvantages:
● Everyone may not have computer/mobile knowledge.
● Server/Internet connection problem may occur.

● Admin login, User registration/login, Adding parking areas, Search parking
availability check, Bill payment

SYSTEM REQUIREMENT SPECIFICATIONS
PURPOSE:
The E-Parking System is a system that enables customers/drivers to
reserve a parking space. It also allows the customers/drivers to view
the parking status at parking area. It was developed because the
congestion and collision of the vehicle .Therefore the project aimed at
solving such problems by designing a web based system that will
enable the customers/drivers to make a reservation of available
parking space at parking area.
SCOPE:
The scope of this project is to know that parking slot is available in
particular parking area or not .By this website we can know which
parking slot is available in parking area.
OBJECTIVE:
It is designed to make easier for people to
book parking slots online. Searching for a vacant parking space in a
metropolitan area is the daily concern for most people and it is time
consuming. The system heavily relies on human interaction with the
physical space and entity.
EXISTING SYSTEM:
The existing system shows how many parking slots available in that
particular parking area. The user can reserve the parking slot at any
time i.e., on a required date.
DRAWBACKS:
If the admin do not update the empty slots then the user will
face the problem.
PROPOSED SYSTEM:
The proposed system includes the book option in which the user
can book the parking slot he/she needed. If a user booked one slot
then that particular slot is displayed in red colour.
ADVANTAGES:
● Users can get learn about parking areas for particular locations.
● It saves user time in search for parking space availability in such a long
parking area.
● This system provides graphical view of the parking spaces
REQUIREMENT ANALYSIS.
Analysis focuses on producing a model of the system called the analysis
model, which is correct, complete, consistent and verifiable. Analysis model
is composed mainly of three individual models.

The functional model is represents with use of case diagrams, the object
model with class diagram and the dynamic model with state chart and
sequence diagrams.

1. Admin name and Password will be given
2. Login Failed will be displayed if wrong else logs in
3. After login the admin can view who reserved the slots and
where. In that you can see DELETE, LOGOUT options
DELETE
Admin can delete the slots which requirement time was over. By
Giving the [Link] and click delete button .Then the data will be
automatically deleted from his reserved slots.
LOGOUT
If we press logout you will redirect to the main page.

Our data will be shown for confirmation purpose. we can see
our car no , phone no , area ,place , slot no and we can check the
slot availability.

By entering the required details you can able to see the your
information and you can book the required slot.
LOGOUT
If we press logout then it redirect to the main page.
NON-FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Non-functional requirements are the limitations under which system
should provide its services to users .Following are the Non-functional
requirements:
RELIABILITY:
The system is more reliable because of the qualities that are
inherited from the chosen platform jsp. The code built by using jsp is
more reliable.
COST:
The cost of development and maintenance is minimum. As this
project uses all open source tools to develop , the cost of construction
is low.
PERFORMANCE:
The system is developed using high-level languages and using
advanced languages for front end and back [Link] will give response
to user within less time.
SUPPORTABILITY:
The system is designed to the cross platform supportable. The
system is supported on the wide range of hardware and any software
platform, which is having JVM , built into the system.
SECURITY:
This avoids the non-authorised users and workers access to the
system.
