To reduce the risks to your Volvo Online Account when using the WibuMFA plugin, I recommend using a US-based
VPN.
VTI Helper w/MFA
1) Run the plugin named [Link], at this stage enter any six-digit password (e.g. 123456) in the
pop-up for Wibu-cookie. After setting the password, click on the "Get Cookie" button and proceed to
the next step.
Login to the MFA screen with your personal Volvo account. Make sure it is as shown in the images.
Wait for the login verification to confirm the authentication step and the creation of cookies.

If you receive such a warning on the screen, the process is complete.
After using the WibuMFA plugin, switch off your VPN programme and switch to your own internet. It's safer now.
2) Run the program called "[Link]". This program will be with us in two different
areas: main installation and plugins. (Note: if you use a VPN, I recommend switching it off at this stage and switching to your own internet.)
As a first step, click on the "Run Installation Bundle" button and go to the input screen of the
installation.
On this screen, enter your ClientID and UserID correctly and completely. You can write
anything in the password section, this point is not important.
3) After successfully logging in, wait at the "Installation type selection" screen shown below.
Run the plugin named "[Link]" before continuing the installation.
* Type your personal ClientID where it says "A1"
* Where it says "A2", type the password we used for "[Link]".
(I am attaching this image here as a reminder.)
After making the necessary entries in A1 and A2 sections, click the "Activate" button. If all the
information is correct, you will receive a warning that the activation has been successfully completed.
Now go back to the Tech Tool installation stage and start the installation with the 'Next' button.
Once the installation is complete you will see that everything is clean and successful as in this screen,
now restart the computer and update to the latest version via Client Update.
Note: If you have problems connecting to the server in ClientUpdate, close ClientUpdate completely. Extract the
[Link] file from the zip and send it to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Client Update\Agent" and then
confirm the change.
Reboot the computer and open ClientUpdate to make your updates.

4) After the Tech Tool installation is complete, run the application named
"[Link]" again. For the second step of this application, click the 'Install Third-
Party Services' button and wait for the plugins to be fully installed.
After the plugins are installed, run the Tech Tool shortcut on the desktop once and close it when the
login screen appears.
“If you get the warning that services have not started, I recommend restarting Volvo services in task manager/services.”
5) In this step, we will do the licensing process so that we can use offline with the licence editor
installed with the plugins.
Click on the Start button and run the "Licence Editor for Renovated [Link]" application from the
newly installed applications.
Create an authorisation code through the HWID code on the screen that opens and the editor
authoriser given to you, then confirm access with the "Connect" button.
You must follow these steps in order to complete the licensing process:
1- Click on the 'First Install FIX' button and wait for the process to complete.
2- For 2.8.240 and higher, tick the '240 & Higher' box.
3- Click on the 'Create DB with new key' button and wait for the process to complete.
4- Finally, click on the 'Patch Login' button and wait for the process to complete.
When all steps are completed, you can now open the Tech Tool and log in offline with the user ID you
created in the authorisation plugin.
How do you do the authorisation process on your own computer?
a) First, open the MFA Authorisation Plugin. And make your personal changes as in the image.
(Do not forget to enter an email '@' and phone '+1' number.)
b) Click the 'Past&Generate' button with the HWID code you copied from the other computer and use
the new authorisation code in the licensing step on the other computer.
When you follow these procedures in order, you will not have any problems. Enjoy.
