The prim a r y Objective of this docu m e n t is to provide guida n c e for installing a new chan g e set in
Develop m e n t environ m e n t s .
Pre req u i s i t e : TAFJ develop m e n t Imag e with TAFJ version 2012 0 9 or highe r.
Pro c e d u r e :
Inside the Eclipse, in TAFJ pers p e c t ive choose TAFJ RTC Tools from the menu and select the option
Inst all Chan g e Set for option. TAFJ

Inside the work Item refer e n c e provide the valid work Item which nee d s to be installe d in the TAFJ area .
Then choos e the cha n g e sets which are inte r e s t i n g for you by clicking Next butto n.

Here we have an option to specify wher e the Sourc e file need s to be loade d (*.b) in local syst e m .
Once select e d the chan g e sets requi r e d , click finish to initiat e the proc e s s of act u al installing of cha n g e
set.
The inst allation can be viewe d as follows.
On compil er log we can see the *.b routi n e s get ting compile d.
When the r e is an Inser t File in the chan g e set, the depe n d e n t sourc e file will be reco m pil e d with the new
inser t file.

Pleas e make a note if your chan g e set cont ain s *.d item s (Data recor d s) then you nee d to login into
DBTools login on toggle d projec t with releva n t use r and passw o r d befor e inst alling the cha n g e set.
An invalid login will not allow the chan g e set to load data recor d s inside the data b a s e .
On Data b a s e log we can see the dat a recor d get ti ng inser t e d in resp e c t ive file.

The sour c e files can be plac e d in two ways base d on the para m e t e r
tem n. t afj.c h a n g e s e t . r e t a i n .fold e r . s t r u c t u r e in .prop e r t i e s .
Once the inst allatio n is finishe d , and whe n we have tem n.t afj.c h a n g e s e t . r e t a i n .fold e r . s t r u c t u r e set to
true , the sourc e files can be found in the resp e c tive sourc e folde r specified durin g inst allatio n in the
sam e packa g e struc t u r e as in RTC.
Once the inst allatio n is finishe d, and when we have tem n.t afj.c h a n g e s e t . r e t a i [Link] e r . s t r u c t u r e set to
false, the sour c e files can be found in the basic folder direct o ry itself.
There is a new folder Chan g e S e t cre a t e d unde r TAFJ_HOME/log direc to ry and a new text file nam e d
after the cha n g e s e t n u m b e r is cre at e d inside the Chan g e S e t folde r. This file cont ain s the list of .b and
.com po n e n t files compile d during Chan g e S e t I n s t a ll a ti on proce s s

corr e s p o n di n g Cha n g e Set num b e r and displays the stat u s of compilatio n.
