Guidelines to Parents: This activity will help your child to identify and name the fruits and
vegetables. Encourage your child to identify only the vegetables and colour them. As an
extension you can give your child the outlines of various vegetables and ask him/her to identify
them and colour the same.

Guidelines to Parents: This activity is to help your child develop imagination and motivate
him/her/them to look differently at the ordinary things around us. Ask your child to name the
vegetables and discuss about the shape of each vegetable. Then ask your child to observe the
pictures given on the right and identify which picture matches the shape of the vegetable. Help
your child to match the vegetable to the corresponding shape by drawing a line and colour the
images.
