Guidelines to parents: This is an activity to help your child write number in sequence. Begin
by pointing to the picture and ask your child “What does this look like?”, “How many do you
see?”. Encourage your child to choose the next number in sequence from the numbers given

Guidelines to parents: This is an activity to help your child develop his/her skill in recognizing
numerals from 1-10. Begin by pointing to the numeral on each apple on the tree and ask your
child to identify the same on the ground. Then ask your child to colour the apples having similar
number using the same colour. Example: colour the apple having 6 on tree and apple 6 fallen
below the tree in same colour.

Guidelines to parents: This is an activity to help your child associate numerals with quantities and
developing the skill of writing the numeral 8. Begin by pointing to the image and ask leading questions
like ‘What do these look like? How many do you see? Can you write down the number?’ Guide your child
to hold the pencil appropriately while tracing the number 8 given below. If your child shows difficulty in
writing the numeral, you can help your child by having him/her trace the numeral in a sand tray or a tray
filled with rice or any substance like rava etc.
