Topic 9: Some people think that teenagers should have part-time job to gain work experience and

become more responsible. Others believe that students should focus entirely on their studies and
extracurricular activities, Discuss both views and given your own opinion.

Some people argue that part-time job help teenagers have experience for their future, and they also
become a responsible people. However, others say that to improve themselves, they just need to
complete main subjects and join in many pratical activities. Both viewpoints are valid, but I believe
that completing main curriculum and engaging in experiential activities due to several below-
mentioned reasons.

On the one hand, many benefits make people think that part-time work is important in order to
enhance their skills and get accustumed to work-pressures. To begin with, this situation allows the
young to deal with challenges they can not know in theory, appear in jobs, and they must learn how
to solve issues, which lead to teenagers will be more comfortable when they join in job markets. For
example, when they are students in university, ythey will find some part-time jobs to collect
experience for their “Curriculum Vitae” (CV) they use to apply for future careers.

On the other hand; Nevertheless, they will find it difficult to balance time between freelance jobs
and studies as that jobs’ time is sometimes similar with time in school, so they may be decise to
absent from class, and they will lost knowledge in that lesson. Thus, choosing concentrate on
optional subjects and subjects are not part of usual school or university course is reasonable since
the students can learn useful skills, and they don’t hesitate to choose suitable time. Moreover, the
teenagers can join with their friends and create many happy memories. As a results, the second
option is the best way to help they learn both academic knowledge and soft skills effectively.

In conclusion, although it is partly true that casual jobs will support the young to gain work
experience in some cases, I still support the view that the teenagers shouldn’t pay attention to
freelance jobs due to their disadvantages.
