Part 1: Introduce about yourself

13 years old. I study in class 7/1 at ND secondary school. Today I’d like to talk about…
Topic 1: Talk about your favourite hobby
I like drawing very much because it makes me creative in the life. I started the hobby when I
was 10 years old. I usually share it with my family but I never share with my friends. I practise
drawing by drawing some picture from models in my free time. Next, I paint it and decorate
with many beautiful colours on A4 paper. When I draw a portrait, I have to concentrate on my
idea what I decide to display on the paper. Besides, I practise it three times a week and watch
online how to draw a perfect picture. On the other hand, I find it too difficult for me to do this
so I need to practice drawing more and more. And I think this hobby is interesting and It’s such
a creative activity that I can draw my own life. In the future, I won’t give up this hobby…. In
conclusion, although I don’t have much free time, I always try to use this time to do things to
develop myself better.
Topic 2: Describe something that you do to stay healthy
Two years ago, I usually felt tired and I had a headache when I concentrate our brain on
studying, I worried about that very much and I went to see the doctor. He advised me that I
shouldn’t stay up late, I should have breakfast every morning, I should do more exercise and
eat more healthy food. After that, I started go jogging about 30 minutes every day. In the
morning I get up at 5 o’clock. Then I have a big breakfast before going to school. At present I am
comfortable and I don’t have a headache when I was study. I feel happy and I will continue
going jogging and have a good healthy in the future.
Topic 3: Talk about how to contribute to community activities
My neighbourhood is by the sea. It has a lot of foodstalls, restaurants and coffee shops, so
there are so much rubbish. My neighbourhood still has many street children. They have to earn
money themselves, so they don’t go to school. Recently, the local government had solutions to
prevent. They encourage everybody to keep the environment, help street children, elderly
people, homeless people… We provided an evening class for poor children. I teach them how to
do math exercise or speak english. I also encourage other people to donates books and clothes
to them. At weekend, I spend 3 hours cleaning the street or plating trees. I feel happy because
we help environment becom cleaner. In the future I hope our life will be better.
Topic 4 : Talk about music and arts
Many people listen to music and see art every day. I do too because music and art play an important
role in our life. Music is one of the most important and powerful things in my life without
melodies and harmonies. Art makes this world look more beautiful and music can heal our soul and
make us happier. When you have trouble in your live or work, just listen to your favorite songs and
watch something beautiful around us and then you will feel better. Music and art can be good friends of
you, i love music and art very much.
Topic 5: Talk about your favourite food or drink and how to make it
I love eating spaghetti very much. It simply to boil, cook with water noodles and some
vegetables. First, pour a large pot with plenty of cold water. If you need, add salt to the water
for seasoning. Bring the water to a rolling boil. Then, add the spaghetti a little at a time so the
water doesn't stop boiling. Next, cook spaghetti until slightly chewy. After that, test near the
end of cooking time by giving it a taste. Finally, put it in a bowl or a plate and serve with your
favorite sauce, salad… It a delicious food!
Topic 6: Talk about a historic place you have known
Temple of Literature- The imperial academy is located in Dong Da district, Hanoi. It built in the
11th century, it’s the first university in Viet Nam. The Temple of Literature is a place of study. It
is often cited as one of Hanoi’s most tourist attractions. There are five courtyards at the temple:
The entrance to the first courtyard is called Van Mieu Gate. Khue Van pavilion is behind the Van
Mieu gate. In the first two courtyards there are old trees, beautiful flowers and lawns. The third
courtyard consists of Thien Quang Tinh Well is among the Doctors’ stone tablets. Van Mieu is at
the back of Thien Quang Tinh Well. I like traveling to there, I hope I will go to it again with my
friends in the future.
