Everyone uses internet nowadays and that made the world a small place. There is no
doubt that the Internet has become an important part of our lives, from study to
entertainment. The Internet has become the global mean of communication in our daily life.
From the elderly to the youngest, all of them are using the Internet. Many people are using
the Internet for many purposes and that depends on who they are and what they do.

For me as a student, I use it to do homework and do research through the internet, and
in fact, my work is based on the internet. I learn from the internet, and I communicate using
the internet. When I have a question, I find it fast. If I can't find it on Google, I will put it on
my computer. If I want to know something in details, I browse Wikipedia. If you want to
watch a tutorial or documentary on a topic, go to YouTube. And if I want to be entertained, I
will log into Facebook or Twitter. And if I'm on vacation then I upload memories photos to
Instagram. And another popular reason for using the Internet is online-shopping.

But there are many disadvantages of using this great invention. One of them is user's
information leak such as the credit card data, which may cost loses money. Another great
disadvantage which is addiction of using the Internet, which may affect social life outside the
Internet and the individual becomes isolated from the outside world. The spread of
electronical frauds because the easy access to the largest possible numbers of users. Spread
of viruses that may harm and break the user's devices, which could expose him to theft or
losing his data and information. Wasting a lot of time on useless things, which affects the
productivity of many people is another disadvantage.

In conclusion, the Internet is a wonderful place to look for information, to communicate


and to shop. We all uses Internet every day in many useful ways. Although many people
insist on using it in a bad way. They must stop doing that because they may face isolation
because addiction. Some of them may be in jail for theft or fraud. It really depends on the
person who uses Internet. For me I believe it will made me better.
