Neurosurgeon with training and dedication of more than 18 years of
experience in the academic field of the Public University,
participating in its different levels of academic complexity
administrative; from tenured teacher, Program Director,
Dean, Member of the Academic Council; Advisor and currently Rector.
In the same academic field and at the national level, extensive experience in
the management processes of higher education in Colombia, in addition
as an academic partner of the Ministry of National Education and then as
Coordinator and member of the Health Sciences Room of CONACES
National Commission for Educational Quality Assurance
Superior) of the same Ministry. The knowledge acquired through it
the aforementioned allows my proactive participation in the processes of
direction, execution, design, remodeling, evaluation, and advice in entities
public or private at the regional or national level.
I have also worked in the administrative and managerial field.

In the healthcare field, I have worked as a Neurosurgeon in an IPS.
Public and private institutions of III and IV levels of complexity.
This work experience has allowed me to have an important
knowledge and analysis capacity to participate in processes
managerial, executive, advisory, and operational in social sectors,
academics, scientists, assistance in public and private entities to
local, regional, and national level.
