Interview
The word Interview may be defined as the conversation between
two parties that is structured and prepared to achieve purpose
involving the exchange of information.
An Interview is the mean of Two-way communication.
“A two party conversation in which at least one person has a specific, serious

Types Of Interviews
1. Employment Interviews:- The purpose of this interview is to evaluate an

employee to bring a complaint to the management voicing his grievances for the
functioning of the organization.
6. Correctional Interviews:- A Correctional Interview is conducted to take
corrective actions or disciplinary measures against an employee who has violated
standard of conduct, who has failed to meet etc.
7. Exit Interview:- Such an Interview is conducted by personal specialist of the
organization to find out why an employee has decided to leave the organization.
8. Information Gathering Interview:- The major purpose of Information gathering
