prices and ordering stock as a hairdresser, measuring
ingredients as a chef or even providing quotes and raising
invoices as a mechanic. All workers need to be able to

You’ll be based in our Parsons building and will

rooms for babies and toddlers including a baby

Amazing facilities
You’ll be based in our Trevelyan building
and you’ll have access to fully equipped gyms,
a sports hall, Sports Injury Clinic, fitness studio,
climbing wall and extensive IT suites along with
the Newcastle Eagles Community Arena with an
eight-court basketball hall, gym and classrooms.
You’ll also have access to NUCASTLE (football),
Kingston Park (rugby) and a biomechanics and
physiology laboratory with motion analysis.

On the Open Day we were taken to the

Sports Hall and what stood out was the
amount of facilities that the College has.
There’s a football pitch, basketball court,
climbing wall and a gym that most local
leisure centres wouldn’t have. I just thought,
if they’re investing in equipment like
that, then the teaching will be the same
if not better.

Operations
If you’re looking for a course that will broaden your
horizons, our Travel and Aviation Operations courses
will help take you there. Designed with employers,
you’ll develop skills in customer service, retail,
transport and airline operations to prepare you for
working in the travel industry. We have strong links
with local travel agencies, hotels and attractions and

I was a bit surprised at first when I found out

it was based at the Aviation Academy, but
I think that’s part of what made the course
stand out – nowhere else I was considering
offered in-depth learning at an actual
airport venue!
